    OVERDRIVE UNIT
    Inside of each of the pinion pins in the overdrive unit is a plug to retain lube oil for the overdrive unit. These
    plugs are held in place by the No. 3 thrust washer (See Figure 1).
    A loss of any of these plugs during the rebuilding or cleaning process will cause complete destruction of the
    entire overdrive unit. These plugs deserve your utmost attention.
