Victor Frankenstein created a living creature in his experiments. The monster seeks revenge after being rejected by its creator. It kills Victor's brother, friend, and fiancée. Victor pursues the monster to the Arctic but dies while still trying to stop it. The book is an interesting yet tragic story based on true events, though shorter than expected by the reviewer.

I read a book called Frankenstein. It was written by Mary Shelley in 1818.
Genre is fantasy and horror. Some of the characters were Victor Frankenstein, his monster, Elizabeth, Henry Clerval… This book was based on true events. The book was about a man called Victor Frankenstein and a monster he created. Victor lived with his parents, brothers Ernest and William, adopted girl Elizabeth and nanny Justine. In school he met another boy, Henry. He wanted to understand the secret of life and was obsessed with alchemics. When he grew up he decided make a living creature. It was a big and ugly man. He didn't take care of the Monster so it ran away. In the next few years, because of anger, Monster killed William and Henry, and Justine was accused for killing William, so they hanged her. The last person Monster killed was Elizabeth, on her and Victor's wedding night. Victor decided to follow Monster and kill it, but on the way he lost track of it and ended up on some captain's boat, where he died in the end. I liked the book because it's short and even though it's based on true events, it's interesting. I don't like that it's sad and tragic, and that's why I don't have a favorite part of the book. I expected it to be longer and have more events. I would definitely recommend it if u love mystery.
