I am looking for a good Thieves and Sheep routine without using gimmicked coins. I wanted to do it with pennies and nickels.
There is one in the Lou Gallo book, but it also requires lapping. I am looking for a standup version. Anyone have any ideas?

Micheal Ammar has a basic thieves and sheep routine, that you could do standing or sitting. Its on the easy to master coin magic
series.

PS. Scott has a cool routine using a little special something on the visions site called "Sheepish Thieves" in the "in your hands"
section.

If you are intrested in waiting a little while longer I am going to release mine in the new coin book I am writing.
the way to get into it if you would like to start practicing is in Volume two of Knuckle Busters. The last thing in the book It is
called seven the hard way. remember that this is just a production of seven coins. The work for the thieves and sheep routine will

be revealed in the coin book. Also it is a stand up version, with a really neat kicker.

Ron Bauer's routine is fantastic. It has a good story to back it up as well. It's called "Butch, Ringo and the Sheep."

I am too new to magic to know the different versions, but Johnny Thompson himself describes one. Though not standup, it
doesn't use gimmicks or lapping and is essentially, self-working in David Pogue's 'Magic for Dummies.' A table is assumed in the
book, but I think the spectators hands would be an even better substitute.
Special user Good? Well, I have only shown it once and to a grandson. He surprised me when I saw him again 6 months later by asking to see
Mississippi again only one of the many tricks I had shown him: Sheep and Thieves as it is called in 'Magic for Dummies' rather than Thieves
