The increasing amounts of consumer goods has led to the depletation of natural resources and
the degradation of environment.To my knowledge, it is definitely a negative trend. Some of the
most common factors will be discussed below,followed by some responsible solutions.
People do not form a environmental-friendly mind and lack the awareness to protect
environment. The reasons are two-fold. On the one hand, the consumers are dramatically
enthusiastic about over-packaged products and they throw these packages as littering once away
after taking the main products. On the other hand, the consumers prefer buy new goods rather
than repairing the broken old one. Consequently, in the long term, environment is stressed out by
human activities.
