REPAIR DOG BONE – PRS 109426

This is a Report on the REPAIR OF BOG BONE in view of the site visit conducted on
15th December, 2022 at Components store Synclinorium. Below is the list of materials to be
used.
Our enterprise is ready to offer to its customers services on capital repair of dog bone.
Our repair is done with complete installation of worn out or damaged dog bone and (or)
their components’ repair procedure is formed of the following operations:

REHABILITATION PROCEDURE
1. PREPARATION

• Sand blast the work to remove rust.

• Remove paint, grease or oil if any with acetone. Paraffin should not be used because it leaves oil residue
detrimental to welding of high strength steels.
• Preheat to 120 degrees using a carburizing flame and if practical maintain at this temperature throughout
the welding operation.

Line Boring and Hardware fitment

During the line Boring process, we start by opening the bores to about 10mm undercut.
Will Build and line bore 3 sets of and weld all cracks, clean and paint CAT yellow
bore to about 139.70mm 0.05mm tolerance
Tilt Link bore to about 139.70mm 0.05mm tolerance
