Instruction: Identify what Filipino cultural values is being described.

1) The barangay captain became a middleman to talk about the problem between Maria and Marites.
2) Pedro saw a poor man living in the street and remembered that his father told him to always help others
in any way you can. With that in mind, he helped him by giving him money to buy food.
3) Pedro is good at fixing things such as refrigerator, washing machine or television with the available
tools at hand.
4) Juan and his family was devastated by a typhoon, his friends decided to raise money through
contributions to help Juan and his family.
5) Rodrigo wants his friend Bong to become the godfather of his son because he believes that Bong will be
good influence to his son.
6) Juan welcomed their balikbayan relatives in their house and treated them warmly by providing them
food.
7) A good father will never leave his family even in times of hardship because he loves them.
8) Pedro did not approve the project that his classmates have proposed but there is nothing he could do
because of the majority’s decision, instead, he accepted the decision and did his best to support it.
9) We Filipinos have the ability to smile and laugh even after an earthquake has devastated us.

condolences.

18) We give people gifts or help and they tend to tell us “I owe you one”.
19) Maria will finish her study so that she can help her family prosper.
