The Puzzle Pack

and the Mystery of the Mystifying Message

The Puzzle Pack solve their first mystery -

who could have sent them this mysterious message, and why?
Volume 1 Start

Our adventure begins early on a Saturday morning, although it doesn't look much like
like it when you're walking through the space station. You can't see blue skies or fluffy
white clouds in outer space, only twinkling stars in a sea of inky darkness.

Stella is running late, and she despises being late. She should have met up with her
friends for their weekly puzzle club ten minutes ago, but she completely lost track
of the time! She runs hurriedly through the winding corridors, diving through the
bustling crowds of colourful aliens and humans who have made this place their home.

However, her friends haven't even noticed that she is running late. Instead, they are
far too interested in the mysterious message they've just received on their tablet...

New message received from ???

Good morning Puzzle Pack.

I've heard that you're some of the most talented puzzlers in the whole solar system! I could
use your help, but I want to test your skills first.

I've given you a clue about my identity, but it's currently missing some letters. You'll need to
solve all four puzzles to get these missing letters and complete this secret sentence!

Good luck!

What do you all think? Can we trust a message like this?

They knew our club name: 'The Puzzle Pack'! So I don't think the
person who wrote it is a stranger.

They also said they could use our help, and we should always try
to help others!

Also, we're very good at solving puzzles! Alright Puzzle Pack, let's
do it!

Solve all four puzzles and then turn to the 'Solve It!' page to complete the secret sentence!

Volume 1 End

As Stella triumphantly types in the last letter of the clue, the four friends take a step
back from the tablet, staring at the message with a puzzled expression on their faces.

What does that mean?

Well, a hero helps people, don't they? Maybe they're a teacher, or a

firefighter, or a doctor?

Wait! We've got another message!

New message received from The Detective!

Congratulations Puzzle Pack!

You've solved all my puzzles - now it's time for me to reveal myself.

People call me 'The Detective'. I've always wanted to be a hero, but I never thought I was
strong or smart enough to be one. However, I'm really good at spotting things that other
people don’t, so I decided to help people in my own special way: by solving the toughest
mysteries in the whole universe!

Here’s the problem though. I always find lots of useful clues when I’m on a case, but
sometimes they are hidden away in puzzles. I'm not very good at solving puzzles though
so I can’t get the hidden clues! If I can’t get the clues, I can’t solve the mysteries and I can't
help people. But you could step in and help me solve those pesky puzzles – if we work
together, I know that we could solve any mystery!

Please help me Puzzle Pack!

Will the Puzzle Pack choose to help The Detective?
