My name is Petrescu Bianca AnaMaria and I am 19 years old.

I am from Constanta, but since the

college started, I moved in Bucharest. I graduated “Traian” National Highschool on philology
section.

I have always enjoyed learning about history, exploring more about our heritage and how the
past has shaped who we are today. When it came to deciding what to study at university,
although I looked into pursuing a science subject, I ultimately chose to follow the path I knew I
would enjoy the most.

Also, since eleven grade, my future was already settled, like my plan was very clear. I had the
pleasure to meet the most intelligent person in my life: my history teacher. He changed my
perspective and he made me realise that I want to become exactly like him. I aspire to make a
difference in others’ lives through education.

Choosing a career can be hard. If I could have any career in this world, what would I be? I would
choose my career as a teacher. I have always been inspired by them. They not only taught me
about the book and course related to it, but they also taught me about life and realistic things.
Teachers are human in the form of an angel who shows us the right path and helps us to find
yourself even in the darkest night.

Another reason for choosing this college and career is my passion for reading. Although I have
several hobbies, such as watching movies and hiking, reading books is what resonates well with
me. There are many reasons why I love reading. The first reason is it gives me a level of
fulfillment. After reading a book, I feel like a whole new being and my outlook in life
changes.The second reason is books make my mind sharp. It is a known fact that books improve
our brain muscles. They make us think better and improve our decision making abilities.

I want to belive that my English level is high. When I graduated middle school I passed the
Cambridge Exam (PET) with a very good grade, so I went to a highschool where English was a
very important subject. But, to be honest, it wasn’t exactly how I thougt it will be, because our
teachers weren’t that implicated as I expected.
