a. Based in the video clips, what did you learn about social innovation?

I learned how important and useful social innovation through the video clips. It truly
is about creating solution that addresses the user’s needs. Like in the video clips, Design
Matters – Hands in The Mist, the innovators with the villagers thought of innovative design
solutions to overcome water poverty. And in the video KUBO, the innovators thought of a
solution to the problems of people in Isabela during calamities. The innovation that they
came up with is the foldable kubo, which is amazing because of its transportability and easy
to build. It provides temporary shelter to the people during typhoons and other calamities.
