Excess Protection Insurance ✗ Claims occurring outside the period of insurance of your
✓ Payment of the amount of any excess applying to a claim Excess Protection Insurance policy; or
accepted on your Commercial Insurance policy, up to an ✗ Claims reported outside the reporting period for claims,
aggregate limit of £5,000 in respect of all Excess Protection which is specified in your Commercial Insurance policy; or
claims within the period of insurance ✗ Claims relating to an excess applying to a cover which has
been added on to your Commercial Insurance policy within
a separate document which does not form part of your
main Commercial Insurance policy document; or
✗ Claims made in respect of a policy other than the Commercial
Insurance policy to which this policy attaches; or
✗ Payments which exceed your policy limit of £5,000 for the
total of all Excess Protection claims in aggregate occurring
within any one period of insurance
Where am I covered?
✓ For all claims, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands
Payment options will be subject to the agreement between you and the person who is selling you this policy.
This cover will last for one year and the dates of cover will be included in your policy documentation. If in any doubt, please speak
to the person who sold you this policy.
You can cancel this policy by telling us within the cooling off period which lasts for 14 days after taking it out. After the cooling off
period you may also cancel this policy by providing 14 days’ notice. Subject to the terms of business between you and the person who
sold you this policy, you may be entitled to a partial refund of the premium.
If you cancel the Commercial Insurance policy to which the Excess Protection Insurance attaches then this policy will be cancelled
from the same date.
It is important to note that charges may apply to any refund subject to the individual terms of business between you and the person
who sold you this policy. Please contact them directly for full details of charges.
