Hello..

today I would like to share you about my own Ethical Dilemma case
that I faced. One day, my mother and I prepared for our dinner. But we don’t have
some eggs to cook fired eggs. So I have to go to the shop to buy some eggs. I need
20 minutes to arrive to the shop. Unlucky it was a night time, so I don’t want to go
but I have to do it right away before my mother scold me. After walking in the dark,
I arrived at the shop. And I asked the shopkeeper how much it is? The shopkeeper is
liked my grandmother and totally old enough. She can’t see clearly in the dark. Total
cost is eight hundred kyats. I gave her one thousand kyats. So she need to give me
two hundred kyats. Instead of giving me two hundred kyats, she gave me five
hundred kyats. I took all the thing that she gave. I hadn’t noticed I took the extra
money from grandmother. When I arrived at home, I calculated how much it costed
and finally I found I got the extra three hundred kyats. As for the child, three hundred
kyats is a lot to me. I can buy the toys that I want or I can eat sneaks for two days.
But I think it is not good for the shopkeeper because she needs money so she sells
the things. I was thinking about for fifteen minutes what I should do. I don’t want to
go the dark again and the dinner time was coming closer. But from the other view of
perspective, the grandmother has a child or children. They might be hungry. With
these five thousand kyats they can have a dinner very well. So, I decided to take back
the extra to the shop keeper. It’s all about of my Ethical Dilemma case.
