INTAKES AND THRUSTERS

The intakes and thrusters are developed in a “flower” pattern. When assembling them, use tape or
a thin strip of regular copy paper and glue to fix them into shape. Always apply glue to the inner
“lip” of the outer part, not to the intake or thruster.
When using thin stock of the recommended weight, inserting the intakes and thrusters from the
front is possible, but if you use a thicker stock than recommended, you may want to insert these
parts from the rear instead, then close the volume after properly seating them into place.
When inserting the nose intake or side intakes from the rear, use the eraser end of a pencil to
help nudge the intake into place.
