Wedding toast script

Good evening everyone, I hope you’ve been enjoying yourselves in sharing this special moment
with the new Mr. and Mrs Fox. Now I stand here in front of you to make a toast for the happy
couple. So can we all stand up from our tables with a glass of wine, or water, you choose.

First of all, I’ll introduce myself. Some of you might be wondering who’s this girl who's bossing
us around? I am BLANK BLANK, and I’ve been best friends with both the bride and the groom
since highschool.

As their best friend, I was the one who first noticed their feelings for each other, even before
they themselves didn’t yet. Because I’m sorry but walking backwards to talk to your friend and
walking straight into an electric wire isn’t normal. And screaming “you have a low IQ” and
hugging that person, without even confirming if it was a live wire or not is something that said a
lot with these two. Now Obviously the electric wire didn’t have electricity, because they’re sitting
in front of us now, but that scene I witnessed is something I will never forget. Not because I
could lose two of my best friends there.

But because I saw how they truly cared for each other, Liam walking backwards while knowing
full well how dangerous it is just so he can speak to her face to face and Alicia scolding him and
comforting him immediately without even thinking of her own safety. I was there to watch how
these two turned lovers from best friends. I was there for every misunderstanding they had,
every little fight, and I was there to hear each of their views of the story. And knowing all that all
I can say is these two are so lucky and I don’t even hope, I know very well that they will have a
happy marriage.
