I still remember how we used to play pretend house; You were the bride, and of course I didn’t

have a chance to win against you, I always played the groom. We would pretend to have a
wedding ceremony then following is us being husband and wife, with our stuffed toys as our
kids. We had so much fun during those times, and I am so happy to now play as your maid of
honor and not your pretend husband anymore.

I first met Jennifer in kindergarten, 21 years ago. In my first memory of her, she was a sweet but
easily irritated girl. I remember running away when she approached me to play with dolls with
her. I was so scared of her intimidating face back then, but looking back I think she was really
cute at that time. Then, I faced my fears and got to know her. And for me, I think that was the
best decision I ever made in my life. Jennifer is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Even though I’m still single after all these years, I still feel like I have a boyfriend who takes care
of me dearly because of Jennifer. Jennifer always makes me feel that I am special to her and
would always give me the princess treatment. She would make me soup when I’m sick, or buy
me pretty clothes when she notices that my old ones are already worn out. I must say that
Jennifer is the sweetest and most caring girl out there. She is the sister I never had.

So, to the groom, Tristan, please take care of my most prized possession. You can now take my
place as Jennifer’s pretend husband, 21 years ago. I knew from the start that you were perfect
for each other the first time I saw you together. And lastly, let us all raise our glass to
congratulate these two beautiful and kindhearted people and wish them to have a happy and
contented life together. I hope your love for each other will grow further and be together till your
