Personal Statement

I have always been passionate about pursuing higher education and making a
positive impact in my community. Growing up in a low-income household, I have
faced numerous challenges, but I have never let those challenges defeat me.
Instead, I have used them as motivation to work hard and succeed. I believe that
education is the key to unlocking a better future, and I am eager to continue my
academic journey.

During my high school and University duration, I was actively involved in various
extracurricular activities, including volunteering at local shelters, helping
organizations and participating in debate clubs. Through these experiences, I
developed strong leadership skills and a commitment to service. I also maintained
a high GPA, taking advanced classes and earning awards for my academic
achievements.

I am now eager to take the next step and attend my dream University (University
of Minnesota). I have always been fascinated by the field of Planning and
Designing programs, and I hope to one day become a research scientist. I am
confident that University of Minnesota education will provide me with the
knowledge and skills I need to reach my goals.

I am applying for this scholarship to help me achieve my dream of attending

University of Minnesota. Receiving this scholarship would not only provide me
with financial support, but it would also show me that my hard work and
dedication have paid off. I am determined to make the most of this opportunity and
to use my education to make a positive impact in my community and beyond.
