Greetings everyone, my name is Shi Xuan. Today I will be sharing a new thing I
learned recently: cooking. It is something that is really, really, really hard to learn. Why? The
particular reason is there is too many steps to remember, sometimes it will get quite
confused, accordingly to what I've been going through while learning how to cook.

Cooking is something that will be part of our life, something that is flavour, frying,
fruity. Cooking relates to science because of heating. In addition, I highly encouraged to
whoever wanted to learn cooking, even you are a beginner, there is no need to be scared
because we must always give it a try and never think of giving up. Whoever gives up because
of small things are just as chicken-hearted like a mouse.

One month ago, my cooking teacher gave everyone a task to find a partner to cook a
Spaghetti named Spaghetti Aglio . At first it was kind of smooth and easy to start with.
Suddenly, Thud! I spilled too many salt as it was totally an accident, even thought it taste
extremely salty after finishing cooking. After that accident, l’ve always remind myself to be
more careful on aspects of cooking.

Moreover, the benefits of knowing how to cook can really bring your family together,
they all can eat the food that you make for them. You may also receive compliments from
them, and that makes you a better and more confident person. Most importantly, if you are
an expert on aspects of cooking, you may even go beyond than Alain Ducasse!

To sum up, cooking can be a habit, or it can be a need, and it can be both. No matter
what is the purpose of learning to cook, it is a way to help ourselves to survive in a difficult
situation. That is why it is important to learn to cook.
