Faults

Faults in Module

Current/Confirmed Faults
Fault 1 : C1031 : Problem in the Back Wheel Speed Sensor circuit

Fault 2 : C1033 : Problem in the Front Wheel Speed Sensor circuit

Fault 3 : C1200 : ABS Inlet Valve Coil LF Circuit Short To Battery

Fault 4 : P0113 : An excessively high voltage detected from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor

Symptoms:
In some cases, the engine may be hard starting and/or get poor fuel economy Poor engine performance/hesitation on acceleration

Possible Causes:
Faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
Dirty air filter
Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness is open or shorted
Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

Solutions:
Check the IAT sensor connector with the key on and the engine off. There needs to be a steady 5 volt reference voltage and a very good ground.

Fault 5 : P0108 : An excessively high voltage detected from Manifold Pressure sensor

Symptoms:
Bad fuel economy
No fuel pump operation

Possible Causes:
Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor/Barometric Pressure Sensor is defective
Intake Manifold vacuum leaks
Faulty or corroded Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor/Barometric Pressure wiring or connections

Solutions:
Perform a visual inspection to insure the integrity of the oxygen sensor wiring.
If the wiring is found to be okay, check the sensor voltage and resistance. Voltage should be below 1 volt and resistance below manufactures specifications for
each vehicle.
Fault 6 : P1690 : Wastegate Solenoid Circuit Malfunction

Fault 7 : P2803 : PCM receives inputs from the vehicle speed sensor, transmission shift solenoids, torque converter lock-up solenoid, or other sensors, indicating that the
vehicle has a malfunction in the transmission shift mechanism range circuit

Symptoms:
Check Engine Light will be ON

Possible Causes:
Faulty Park/Neutral Position Switch
Misadjusted Park/Neutral Position Switch
Park/Neutral Position Switch harness is open or shorted
Park/Neutral Position Switch circuit poor electrical connection

Solutions:
Inspect Transmission wires
Check harness and connectors
Replace ECM (Engine Control Module)

Fault 8 : P1650 : PSP Switch Out of Self Test Range

Fault 9 : P0500 : Vehicle Speed Sensor is not operating properly

Symptoms:
Big drop in fuel economy,
Vehicle may shift harshly
Misfire at idle

Possible Causes:
Faulty Vehicle Speed Sensor
Vehicle speed sensor harness or connectors is open or shorted
Vehicle speed sensor circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM)

Solutions:
Monitor the engine idle to see if it stays within specifications in and out of gear and on road test
Check the engine for vacuum leaks
Check the engine for carbon build up on throttle plates and IAC valve inlet
