    This borehole log documents soil conditions at a site in Kota Setar, Kedah, Malaysia for a sewerage pipe line project. The borehole, labeled MH-31, encountered soft brownish grey clay from 0-10.5 meters depth with some sand observed at 9 meters. Standard Penetration Tests were conducted throughout and recovered undisturbed samples. The soil consisted of very soft to soft clay with natural moisture content of 100% and no groundwater observed up to a depth of 10.5 meters.
