Looking into the future

I- Introduction :
Since most people are curious about the future, futurists often try to picture how our lives will
be different in a certain year. 2050 is a popular target since it is far enough away to require
some speculation, but close enough that many of us will see the changes in our lifetime.
II- Artificial intelligence :
II-1 : What is AI ?
 It is the ability of computer program/Algorithm to learn from the data.
 These algorithms can analyze, classify and draw predictions base on trained data.
II-2 : How AI works ? Approaches to AI ?
 A trained AI algorithm works same as human required task which needs intelligence.
 As we know, AI can imitate humans tasks but still on a specific level of intelligence.
 As human intelligence is capable of processing and executing many tasks, same as
that AI has different approaches which process and execute tasks.
II-3 : Machine learning :
 Machine learning is the ability of AI to train a machine on a specific data to recognize
patterns and/or predict outcomes.
III- Vision of the future :
Humanity’s future is uncertain. Numerous challenges may face us. However, we also have the
ability to shape our own futures.
Some believe that AI will eventually result in a form of human augmentation in which we
become smarter, faster, and more efficient as a result of our merger with technology. Others
believe that AI will eventually surpass human intelligence, ushering in a world ruled by
machines. There is no correct or incorrect response, and it ultimately depends on the
individual’s perspective.
IV- Examples :
Sophia the Human-Like Robot :
Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by the Hong Kong-based company Hanson
Robotics. Sophia was activated on February 14, 2016, and made its first public appearance in
mid-March 2016 in Texas, US.
Tesla :
Tesla is a car brand that markets electric cars with built-in artificial intelligence. Today, the
billionaire Elon Musk has a special bond with Tesla, since it is with him that the brand has
experienced a dizzying rise.

V- Challenges and Risks :
V-1 : Challenges :
o Limited Knowledge
Although there are many places in the market where we can use Artificial Intelligence as a
better alternative to the traditional systems. The real problem is the knowledge of Artificial
Intelligence. Apart from technology enthusiasts, college students, and researchers, there are
only a limited number of people who are aware of the potential of AI.
o Human-level
This is one of the most important challenges in AI, one that has kept researchers on edge for
AI services in companies and start-ups. These companies might be boasting of above 90%
accuracy, but humans can do better in all of these scenarios.
o Data Privacy and Security
The main factor on which all the deep and machine learning models are based on is the
availability of data and resources to train them. Yes, we have data, but as this data is
generated from millions of users around the globe, there are chances this data can be used for
bad purposes.
V-2 : Risks :
As the benefits of AI systems increase, so do the risks that come with these tools. So what are
the risks of artificial intelligence ?
o Automation-spurred job loss
o Privacy violations
o 'Deepfakes'
o Algorithmic bias caused by bad data
o Socioeconomic inequality
o Market volatility
o Weapons automatization
VI- Conclusion

It is very difficult to draw conclusions when you find yourself at the beginning of a new story,
a new era. Artificial intelligence is one of the major upheavals affecting our time. Rarely has a
technological development generated so many opportunities for problem solving, so many
changes in usage, so many fears. However, this is absolutely not a technological
breakthrough.
