Risks.
They are a measure of the magnitude of the damage in a dangerous situation. Risk
is measured by assuming a certain vulnerability to each type of hazard. Although it
is not always done, a proper distinction must be made between dangerous and
vulnerable and risk.
Danger.
Situation that threatens life, health and the environment. It is very possible for a
fully harmful incident to occur, that is, an event to create damage.
Incident.
A sudden unwanted event that occurs for the same reasons as accidents, only that
due to chance it does not trigger injuries to people, damage to property, the
process or the environment.
Work accident.
Any sudden event occurs due to or on the occasion of work, and that produces an
organic injury, a functional or psychiatric disturbance, disability or death in the
worker.
Occupational disease.
It is a pathology diagnosed in a worker that is produced by direct exposure to
hygienic risk factors in the workplace (eg Biomechanical, Physical, Chemical Risk,
etc.), which can generate permanent disabilities, invalidity or death.
It was concluded that occupational hazards will always put the health or life of the
worker at risk, all workers run too many risks, some more than others, that already
depends on what work it is. The main objective of occupational safety lies in the
prevention of accidents at work. Occupational safety represents an important
weapon in the workplace, since a large percentage of accidents are caused by
equipment malfunctions that can be prevented.
Take care of yourselves and always have the necessary implements when working
so that all these aspects keep you safe.
