María Félix

She was a Mexican actress, known as the
diva of the golden age of Mexican cinema.

She was the muse of painters such as José Clemente Orozco, Diego
Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Remedios Varo, and Leonora Carrington.
She won three Ariels for Best Actress, a Gold Ariel in tribute to her
career, and a Silver Goddess.
During her long film career, María filmed 47 films in different countries
such as: Mexico, Italy, France, Argentina and Spain.

With her distinctive personality as a strong, ironic and fascinating


woman, she continues to influence contemporary events, always
being remembered as the first diva of Mexican cinema and the
greatest style reference of her time.
