BORRAL BPED1-C ARTS APPRECIATION March 1, 2023

How has the internet age affected the works of artists Digital can send
out a billion invitations to view a work of art. Its image then becomes part of the
global conversation, and the multiplying viewings serve to increase the value and
highlight the uniqueness of the original object itself. There is only one of the real thing.
What are the factors taken into consideration in the life of an artist?
What do you think are the implication of these in their lives?
Artists are influenced by just about anything – their life, environment, childhood, school, work,
television, movies, other artists, etc. I think everything we see and experience in life influences our
art in some way, whether directly or indirectly.
What can you say about the artist validation systems? (Awards and
competition)
There is a difference between ambitious and being competitive. You should strive to be the
best you. Not intend to simply be better than another artist.

How has diaspora and displacement affected the and modified artistic
expressions?
Diaspora is a term used to describe movements in population from one country to another and
is often cited in discussions about identity. In relation to art, the term diaspora is used to discuss
artists who have migrated from one part of the world to another, (or whose families have), and
who express their diverse experiences of culture and identity in the work they make; often
expressing alternative narratives, and challenging the ideas and structures of the established art
world.
How do you think individuals art bodies or organization are shaping
our attitudes towards the arts?
All kinds of art can affect our mood in a positive way, making us feel happier, calmer, or even
inspired to do something. Everywhere you go art is evident. Parks often use sculptures to add
interest and to inform people. Posters on walls give information and motivation.
