Walking Dictation
Students will be describing the appearance of what the teacher showed them.
To play, divide the class into teams and provide each team with a piece of paper and a pencil.
Next, invite one student from each team to come to the front of the class. Show these
students a picture of a person. Next, these students must go back to their team and describe
the appearance of what they saw. The other students in the group must then try to draw the
picture as accurately as they can.
After five minutes or so, ask students to stop drawing and to hold up their pictures. The
team with the most accurate drawing is the winner.
Describing people's memory games

Work in groups of three or four students. Students test each


other on what people in class look like and are wearing while
the person answering the questions has their eyes closed.

1. Which jobs require good luck? Why?
2. How long does it take to get ready in the morning?
3. What kinds of things do you do to improve/maintain your appearance?
4. How should a person look during a job interview?

5. Do you spend a lot of money on cosmetic products?

6. Do you think beautiful people are more successful in life?
