The site I am choosing is traditional land and the climate in this


site is cold. The plot area is large and exposed to direct sun with
no shad.

The approach to my design is to design a building that is


traditional in its function in shape with minimal decorative
elements and the use of more conventional material so that the
building’s design can come out as simple and stable.

The form of the building will depend on geometric shapes, it is


crucial to count on symmetrical shapes. Given that the building
will be simple, the spaces inside the building should be spacious
and wide.

The Entrance of the building will be Expansive and Large to give


that grand entrance feeling to the user with minimum decorative
elements.

The material Chosen for the building should be Bright and clear
to welcome the users into the building. It should be smooth but
also detailed to give some quality to the space from inside and
outside.

The use of natural light in the building is crucial to have an


efficient building, The building should be bright from inside but the
architect should be able to control it in order not to cause glare.

When is comes to artificial light, the spaces should be bright from


inside.

The space of the building should give loose and quiet feeling. The
materials and colors will help the space look more relaxed and
spacious and Wide.

The main façade of the building is oriented towards the North which will
help in designing the main façade with more openings without exposing
the building to excessive sunlight.

The Building is aiming to look more in the past as it is in a


traditional site.

The inside of the building should be controlled in temperature wise


and given that the site is in cold climate, the architect should aim
on making the indoor air quality warm.
With the simple material and color palettes should give calm and
quiet feeling.
