INTRODUCTION

Green House:
What is a “green” building, you may wonder. It is the
practice of creating structures and using processes that
are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient
throughout a building's life-cycle from siting to design,
construction, operation, maintenance, renovation and
deconstruction. Moreover, because of its construction
and features, it can maintain or improve the quality of
life of the environment in which it is located.

The green building concept is gaining importance in

various countries. These are buildings that ensure that
waste is minimized at every stage during the
construction and operation of the building, resulting in
low costs according to the experts in the technology.

There are a number of benefits which can make a

building “green” and those include:
 Use of renewable energy, such as wind energy
 It reduces wastes and pollution
 It practices 5R
 It reduces carbon emissions
 It has good indoor environment air quality
 It uses non-toxic, ethical and sustainable materials
 It prioritizes safer materials
 A design that enables adaptation to a changing
environment
 The consideration of the environment design,
construction and operation
The consideration of the quality of life of
occupants in design, construction and operation.

THE APPLICATION OF
SCIENCE CONCEPT

 BRIGHT AND SOFT COLOURS

 Bright and soft colours are good heat
reflectors.
 The concept of heat reflection makes the
house cooler.

 HAS AIR HOLES / INSTALL AIR VENTILATOR

 More dense cold air enters through doors or
windows. Less dense hot air comes out
through the air holes.
 The concept of air convection makes the
house cooler.
 RENEWABLE ENERGY GENERATOR
 Solar energy
The solar panel converts sunlight into
electricity Windmill.
 Windmill
The Windmill produces electricity
using wind.

 PLANTING TREES AROUND THE HOUSE

 Carbon dioxide increases heat.
 Green plants releases oxygen and absorb
carbon dioxide.
 Heat can be reduced.
 DRAINAGE OF RAINWATER INTO STORAGE TANKS.
 Rainwater can be used to wash the car and
water the trees.
 The use of water can be reduced.
 USE OF GLASS WALLS
 The use h glass walls maximizes daytime.
 This lighting reduces the use of light during
day time.
 Electrical energy can be saved.
 USE OF ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES LABELED ENERGY
EFFICIENT.
 Save on electricity consumption.
Reducing environmental impact
Buildings represent a large part of energy, electricity,
water and materials consumption. As of 2020, they
account for 37% of global energy use and energy-
related CO2 emissions, which the United Nations
estimate contributed to 33% of overall worldwide
emissions

Green building practices aim to reduce

the environmental impact of building as the building
sector has the greatest potential to deliver significant
cuts in emissions at little or no cost. General guidelines
can be summarized as follows: Every building should be
as small as possible. Bioclimatic design is a method of
designing infrastructure within the context of their
respective environment while using the surroundings
to advantage whenever possible.

Goals of green building

The green building movement originated from the
need and desire for more energy
efficient and environmentally friendly construction
practices. There are a number of motives for
building green, including environmental, economic,
and social benefits. However, modern
sustainability initiatives call for an integrated and
synergistic design to both new construction and in
the retrofitting of existing structures

Green building brings together a vast array of

practices, techniques, and skills to reduce and
ultimately eliminate the impacts of buildings on the
environment and human health. It often
emphasizes taking advantage of renewable
resources, e.g., using sunlight through passive
solar, active solar, and photovoltaic equipment,
and using plants and trees through green
roofs, rain gardens, and reduction of rainwater run-
off. Many other techniques are used, such as
using low-impact building materials or using
packed gravel or permeable concrete instead of
conventional concrete or asphalt to enhance
replenishment of groundwater.

CONCLUSION
The Green Building will improve the indoor
environment , saving water, enhanced health , reduced
operational and maintenance cost also energy efficient.

There are many elements involve while we are doing

this project. Time management, cooperation and
finding the right materials are some of them.

By doing this project we can learn how to apply science

concept that we have learn in class to the real world.
