MLM Presentation

Multi-level marketing (MLM) involves deriving revenue from a non-salaried workforce selling products through a pyramid-shaped compensation structure. While some legitimate MLMs exist, most participants make little or no money, and some lose money. Examples of MLM companies include Epicure, Young Living, and Tupperware. The hypothetical scenario outlines how someone at the bottom of the pyramid structure, having recruited others but unable to recruit more, would only make $10 per month, illustrating the risks of the MLM model.

Multi Level Marketing

By: Molly.W
What Is Multi Level Marketing?
Multi-level marketing is also called
network marketing or pyramid
selling, is a controversial marketing
strategy for the sale of products or
services in which the revenue of the
MLM company is derived from a
non-salaried workforce selling the
company's products or services,
while the earnings of the participants
are derived from a pyramid-shaped
or binary compensation commission
system.
Why Isn’t MLM As Good As It’s Perceived?
Most people who join legitimate
MLMs make little or no money.
Some of them lose money. In some
cases, people believe they've joined
a legitimate MLM, but it turns out
to be an illegal pyramid scheme
that steals everything they invest
and leaves them deeply in debt.
What Are Some Exampels Of MLM?

Some examples of MLM

companies would be Epicure,
Young living & Tupperware

“It’s All Abot The Money Money Money”

Ok heres a hypothetical scenario. Say you join a MLM company

you earn $10 a month, than you get 5 people to join they also get
$10 a month, but you get $10 for each of them joining so your
making $60 a month, and if each one of your 5 people get 5
people to join you also get $10 for each one that joined. So after
all that if you’re at the bottom of the pyramid and have no one
else to sell to you are in a rough spot only making $10 a month.
