Introduction

A Cafeteria on the go (Online ordering system) is designed to present students from

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with a menu that details the meal options for the week.
The selection of food displayed in the program is the food offered by the other students from
said school. This system would be extremely beneficial to sellers in preventing order
confusion.

A Cafeteria on the go (Online ordering system) operates similarly to an online

takeaway. The customer orders online, completes their payment, and can then get their food
delivered or pick it up at the store. The ordering process is easy:

1. The customer browses the online menu on their laptop or on their mobile phone.
2. They pick what they want to order from the menu present in the system
3. A confirmation is then displayed, summarizing their order.
4. Your customer's order is delivered to the system's designated location (the school's
UAC) or they can pick it up at a specific time.

Offering online ordering brings several benefits for both restaurants and customers, some
of the benefits are:

i. A Seamless Process: From a customer's point of view, the seamless process is the most
beneficial point of ordering food online. Online food ordering gives customers the
freedom and choice to place an order at virtually any time, from anywhere, saving the
time and resources spent on traveling to pick up a meal. It also gives the customers the
advantage of reordering their favorite orders in the easiest and hassle-free manner.
ii. Extra Perks & Options: Many renowned restaurants and diners offer enticing promotions
to keep their customers happy and drum up more sales and revenues. Online ordering
also opens the doors to limitless dining options and allows customers to browse various
cuisines curated under the guidance of expert chefs and professionals.
iii. Fewer Expensive Errors: When your restaurant staff takes orders over the phone and
writes down the order details manually (or even inputs the order directly into the POS
system), there's plenty of room for error. Customers need to order face-to-face, which
makes communication slightly more difficult and can lead to employees accidentally
marking down the wrong size or choice of meal or misunderstanding special instructions.
By contrast, ordering online gives customers a chance to review their orders visually, so
those mistakes don't happen.

Cafeteria-On-The-Go would be of great help to students' food businesses in a variety of

ways. Not only is it a fantastic way to market and advertise a seller's food, but it would also assist
customers and buyers in reviewing and narrowing down their options before making a purchase.
Additionally, it has a quicker purchasing process where customers can quickly browse through
many items at once and purchase what they like. Additionally, sellers can offer customers
flexibility by allowing them to purchase their products whenever and wherever they choose,
compare products and prices, and respond more quickly to customer demands.
