Introduction

1.1. Introduction
"Online Restaurant Management System" is a web application. This system is developed to automate day
to day activity of a restaurant. Restaurant is a kind of business that serves people all over world with
ready-made food. This system is developed to provide service facility to restaurant and also to the
customer. This restaurant management system can be used by employees in a restaurant to handle the
clients, their orders and can help them easily find free tables or place orders. The services that are
provided is food ordering and reservation table management by the customer through the system online,
customer information management and waiter information management, menu information management
and report. The restaurant menu is organized by categories (appetizers, soups, salads, entrees, sides and
drinks) of menu items. Main objective build the system this is to provide ordering and reservation service
by online to the customer. Each menu item has a name, price and associated recipe. A recipe for a menu
item has a chef, preparation instruction sand associated ingredients.

With this system online, ordering and reservation management will become easier and systematic to
replace traditional system where are still using paper. To resister a meal online, the customer has to
become a member first then he can access the later part of the site. This project to facilitate customer for
make online ordering and reservation. The option of becoming member was only an attempt to avoid (to
some extent) placing the fake bookings.

Online Restaurant management system is the system for managing the restaurant business. After
successful login the customer can access the menu page with the items listed according to the desired
time. The main point of developing this system is to help restaurant administrator manage the restaurant
business and help customer for online ordering and reserve table. In proposed system user can search for
a menu according to his choice i.e. according to price range and category of food and later he can order a
meal.

The project is developing because many restaurants have a lot difficult to manage the business such as
customer ordering and reservation table. If the customer book an order and later wants to cancel the order,
he is permitted to do this only within a specific time period. By using manual customer ordering it is
difficult for the waiter to keep the correct customer information and may lose the customer information.
The customer is also given the facility to view the status of the order to determine if it is ready.

Fast food restaurant chains have been around for decades, catering to people with busy schedules and on-
the-go lifestyles. However, in the digital age, fast food restaurants have taken their business online,
offering easy access to customers who want their food quickly and conveniently. Online fast food
restaurants are becoming increasingly popular, not only for their speed and convenience but also for the
variety and quality of food they offer. In this article, we will take a closer look at fast food online
restaurants and what sets them apart from traditional fast food chains.

Fast food online restaurants are digital storefronts that customers can access through their computers or
smartphones. These digital storefronts offer customers a wide range of food options, often with
customization options for specific dietary needs. Ordering from fast food online restaurants is simple and
easy. Customers can browse the menu, select the items they want, and pay using various forms of online
payment methods. Once the order is placed, customers can either pick up their food in person or have it
delivered to their doorstep.
One notable feature of fast food online restaurants is the customization options available for customers.
The digital menus make it easy for customers to customize their orders according to their dietary needs or
preferences. Customers can choose the quantity of ingredients, add or remove toppings, and select the
level of spiciness, among other things. Such customization options provide customers with a more
personalized food experience, and it also makes it easier for people with dietary restrictions to find food
that they can eat.

Fast food online restaurants are also known for their efficient delivery services, making them ideal for
busy individuals who do not have the time or energy to cook their meals. Once the order is placed,
delivery drivers quickly get to work preparing the food and delivering it directly to the customer's
doorstep. Delivery services can be ordered on-demand or scheduled in advance, making it even more
convenient for customers.

Moreover, online fast food restaurants also provide customers with a seamless ordering experience. The
digital storefronts are easy to navigate, and food items are displayed in a user-friendly manner. Customers
can also see images and nutritional information about the food they're ordering, making it easier for them
to make informed decisions about their food choices. Online reviews and ratings also provide customers
with an idea of what to expect from the restaurant.

Fast food online restaurants also offer promotions and discounts to attract more customers. These
promotions and discounts could be applied to specific food items or for a limited time. Customers can
easily find these promotions by signing up for newsletters or following the restaurant's social media
pages. These promotions and discounts not only provide customers with savings, but they also encourage
repeat visits and customer loyalty.

One of the most significant advantages of online fast food restaurants is the ability to provide customers
with healthier food choices. Many fast food online restaurants offer menu items that are low in calories,
fat, or sodium. These healthier options appeal to customers who want to maintain a healthy diet while still
enjoying the convenience of fast food. Fast food online restaurants also provide customers with
nutritional information about each menu item, helping customers make healthier food choices.

In conclusion, fast food online restaurants provide customers with convenience, variety, and quality food
options. These digital storefronts offer a user-friendly ordering experience, and customers can customize
their orders according to their dietary needs. Moreover, online fast food restaurants also provide efficient
delivery services, making them an ideal choice for busy individuals. The promotional offers and healthier
menu choices make online fast food restaurants a preferred option over traditional fast food chains. As
more people turn to digital shopping, fast food online restaurants will continue to grow in popularity and
become a significant presence in the food industry.

2.1. Statement of the Problem

Many restaurants in today's world of fast food and take-out have opted to emphasize on quick preparation
and delivery of orders above providing a comprehensive eating experience. Until recently, all of these
delivery orders were placed over the phone, but there are several drawbacks to this system, including the
inconvenience of the customer needing a physical copy of the menu, the lack of visual confirmation that
the order was placed correctly, and the restaurant's need for an employee to answer the phone and take
orders.

The online food ordering system is a web based application that will assist restaurants in optimizing and
controlling their operations. Many restaurants manually store all of their data. Every day, they serve a
large number of people. Because of the enormous number of clients, they require the assistance of
specific features in order to accurately keep and retain records.

It is difficult for managers to keep an eye on all of the orders, kitchen reception, products available and
counters at the same time. They require full-featured software to keep track of their daily transactions,
orders, as well as regular updates on records, cash transactions, and daily staff reports among other things.

This system's main advantage is that it substantially simplifies the ordering process for both customers
and restaurants. When a consumer goes to the ordering page, they are greeted with an interactive and up-
to-date menu that includes all available options and dynamically adjusts costs based on the selections
picked. Following their selection, the customer's item is added to their cart, which they can examine at
any moment before checking out.

This gives you fast visual confirmation of what you choose and assures that the products in your order are
exactly what you wanted. Hence, this online food ordering system assists restaurants in performing all
functions more properly and efficiently.

Here in Afghanistan we don’t have any online fast food website to order food, people order their food by
phone call or whatApp, sometimes the food arrive late, people don’t know about the exact location of the
food delivery and sometime people order one thing and they receive another thing, because of the
traditional system mean using pen and paper. On the other side, we do not know the pricing of the food
and we do not know about any discount, which are announced from the restaurant side. The restaurant do
not have any single information about their customers again because of the traditional system.

So therefore, a computerized system is required to overcome these problems such as no dynamic up to

date website, not having up to date prices, and not having access to restaurant at anytime and anywhere
because of being limited by HR limitations.

The main goal of this project is to make web based application for online ordering system that a
restaurant to ensure customer satisfaction.

Manually listing of orders by employees may result in slow customer services. Hence, if the restaurant
use the proposed system manipulation of orders to the customers be so easy and quick by just touching a
single icon using any platform that can have a web browser.

In addition, we can have divers menu for pizza by giving the customers the choice of ingredients so they
can have limitless possibilities that cannot be possible with ordinary menus.

Also by giving live timer of the process, customers can have exact time of delivering their food by
precision of seconds. Customers can have access to a diverse menu, which is not available at other
restaurants so there is food that match any taste.’

3.1. The Significance of the Study

One of the effects of this project will be on society by having simple fast, reliable access to the fast food
chain all around the country for the fast food is cheaper, and its availability to society at any level will
bring an ease in their daily life.

By applying this project on the market, the competition will force other competitors to also apply the
same methods, which will make whole field more advance in technology and reliability for us all in the
area.

We should also expect impacts on people by having access to fast food anywhere and anytime they can
schedule and manage their daily life more precise should it in office, school or on the field or even
organizations can have more precise management on their operations like an event.

Organized Operations: Restaurant management software systems manage inventory, facilitate menu
changes, aid in scheduling, and assist in many other important tasks.

Boost Customer Loyalty: Some systems have the capability to use value features, such as coupons, as
well as extensive gifting options.

Successful Server Stations: They help to improve server efficiency, as well as contribute to empty counter
space, with smaller and more productive stations.

Faster Service: This means quicker table turnover while lowering the risk of errors, as well as improved
communication through the front and back of the house.

Automatic Payments: Fast, reliable and safe payment processing is something you cannot have without
good restaurant management software.

In addition, by using machine learning, we can recommend most match ingredient and favorites ones so
customers can prevent messing their orders and kitchen stock can always be up to date of their most on
demand ingredients.

4.1. Purpose of the Study

The Restaurant Management System helps the restaurant manager to manage the restaurant more
effectively and efficiently by computerizing meal ordering, billing and inventory control. This
management system is designed for a CFK Restaurant and the interface will be in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The system processes transaction and stores the resulting data. Reports will be generated from these data
which help the manager to make appropriate business decisions for the restaurant. For example, knowing
the number of customers for a particular time interval, the manager can decide whether more waiters and
chefs are required.

A restaurant management system is a type of point-of-sale (POS) software specifically designed for
restaurants, bars, food trucks, and others in the food service industry. Unlike a POS system, RMS
encompasses all back-end needs, such as inventory and staff management.

A database helps you centralize all of your information for your business. You can keep track of sales,
inventory, promotions, budgets, personnel, and more! A correctly built database gives you the stability
and organizational ability to grow your business.

4. How the design of the system will effect on customer?

5. How the customer should login to the system?

6. What are the differences in the food delivery services here in Afghanistan compared to USA?

7. What are the chances of growth in this area?

8. What might be the factors that can decrease the productivity of this service in Afghanistan?

9. While customer are surfing through the menu on the website to order food online, how precise
and communicative is the menu pricing?

6.1. Expected outcome

There can be a lot of things that go out of style or die out, but food is not one of them. This is why the
restaurant business is booming day by day, and more and more people are getting pulled into the world of
online food ordering. There is something extraordinary about visiting the restaurants and having food
there as well, meaning that dine-ins are never going out of business.

As business increases, the difficulty of managing it also increases. And if you are unable to manage the
increasing customer demands, it might lead to a group of starving individuals who might even give you a
bad review if the food fails to reach them on time.

This is where the restaurant management system comes in. Think of it as an extra pair of hands that help
you hold your business straight up.

The customers’ needs and the restaurant industry’s standards are ever-changing. If you are looking
forward to creating your own space in this highly-competitive industry, you must have better tools in your
arsenal. A restaurant management system such as CFK is an effective tool that helps gain a competitive
advantage by adapting quickly to market changes. So make sure to invest in one to become the top player
in the industry.
Chapter Two: Literature review
Fast-food management has evolved over time, and with the growth of the digital world, online fast-food
management has become a significant aspect of the food industry. Online fast-food management involves
the use of digital technology to manage food ordering and delivery services efficiently. In recent years,
online fast-food management has become a growing trend among fast-food companies as it offers
convenience, ease, and flexibility to both customers and businesses.

The literature review on online fast food management will focus on evaluating the existing literature on
the subject. The review will examine research papers, journals, and other literature related to online fast-
food management to provide an understanding of the key trends, challenges, and opportunities facing
fast-food companies in the digital age. The review will also explore the benefits and drawbacks of online
fast-food management, such as the impact on customer satisfaction, quality control, and the potential of
customer data analysis to optimize business performance. From the literature, the review will identify the
best practices and strategies to improve online fast-food management for businesses to remain
competitive in the current market.

In [1]. The factors which are found in this study are based on the existing theory of Unified Theory of
Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) namely performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social
influence, information quality, price-saving orientation and time-saving orientation towards intention to
use the applications. Moreover, this research model also has been expanded with an additional dimension,
attitude towards online food delivery services which lead to the intention to use online food delivery
services through a smartphone The study aims to examine factors that influence customers' intention to
use online food delivery applications using a smartphone.

This paper seeks to study the impact of innovations on OFD –new product/services– that aim to enhance
the experiential value when ordering food online. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced some restaurants
to shift their business models to innovative approaches in Online Food Delivery (OFD) services.
Moreover, this paper analyses the willingness to order food delivery online during the COVID-19
pandemic. An experimental design survey was therefore used. [2]

In [3]. This paper examines the current National Food Safety System (NFSS) of Cyprus in contrast to
NFSS of European Union (EU) countries and the EU central level. Particularly, we examine the roles and
responsibilities of different agencies in order to identify possible similarities and differences with NFSS
operating in Europe and determine which features are considered most successful. The main
organizational structure of Cyprus, its legal framework, the competent authorities and division of their
responsibilities are discussed.

This paper presents a general framework for daily meal plan recommendations, incorporating as main
feature the simultaneous management of nutritional-aware and preference-aware information, in contrast
to the previous works which lack this global viewpoint. The proposal incorporates a pre-filtering stage
that uses AHPSort as multi-criteria decision analysis tool for filtering out foods which are not appropriate
to the current user characteristics. Furthermore, it incorporates an optimization-based stage for generating
a daily meal plan whose goal is the recommendation of food highly preferred by the user, not consumed
recently, and satisfying his/her daily nutritional requirements. A case study is developed for testing the
performance of the recommender system. [4]

According to [5]. Food is a necessity of life for all, and is a source of entertainment to many. Due to poor
design of menu-presentation system in restaurants, be it online or manual, often people are forced to
select dishes, without properly being informed about whether it would cater their likes and dislikes or
their health requirements In this paper propose a general framework for a low-cost customizable
computerized menu-system that any restaurant or food-chain can adopt for better user-friendliness and
usefulness for themselves as well as for their customers.

This article critically evaluates the food and farm policy proposals recently offered by prominent
members of the so-called food movement. The shift in the population from majority food-producer to
majority food-consumer has played a role in public calls to reform federal policy to focus more on the
consumer implications of the food supply chain. [6]

In [7]. For the past few years, food safety has become an outstanding problem in China. Since traditional
agri-food logistics pattern can not match the demands of the market anymore, building an agri-food
supply chain traceability system is becoming more and more urgent. In this paper, we study the utilization
and development situation of RFID (Radio-Frequency IDentification) and blockchain technology first,
and then we analyze the advantages and disadvantages of using RFID and blockchain technology in
building the agri-food supply chain traceability system; finally, we demonstrate the building process of
this system.

This Paper provides an important contextual overview of OFD system use in Australia and is particularly
timely given the disruption of access to physical food environments following recent COVID-19
lockdowns and restrictions. OFD systems present an unprecedented opportunity to reach millions of
consumers at the point of purchase and are important for future public health nutrition. As such, further
research is needed to better understand and address barriers and facilitators to using OFD systems to
deliver public health nutrition interventions to improve food selection behaviours of the population. [8]

The Author describes in [9]. Food delivery applications have seen a surge in growth over the past decade.
Digital ordering represents half of all food delivery visits, expanding beyond traditional dinner delivery to
encompass breakfast and lunch delivery (1). Digital orders, ordered via a mobile app, Internet, or text
message, have grown 23% over the past 4 years representing a $26.8 billion dollar industry (2). In most
instances, digital food ordering can be done directly with a restaurant app or third party food service,
which allow people to view local restaurants and menus (2). GrubHub, founded in 2004, was the first
successful third-party food delivery system (3). The company rapidly grew, acquiring other online
businesses and expanded into the delivery service arena. With approximately 44,000 restaurants on
GrubHub's platform, food sales reported in October 2019 grossed about 1.4 billion dollars, an estimated
15% gross year-over-year increase (4). With their success came other services, like UberEats, which grew
by 230% in 2017 (5). It is expected that food delivery applications will have over 44 million users in the
United States in 2020.

The Author value [10]. In this paper they have performed a systematic scoping review to map the
research on the digital food environment and investigate how the eight dimensions of the food
environment, according to an established framework (availability, prices, vendor and product properties,
marketing and regulation, accessibility, affordability, convenience, and desirability), might be shifting in
the context of a digital society.

The hospitality industry, especially restaurants are heavily reliant on mobile technology during the
pandemic to strengthen essential online to offline food delivery, helping large number of consumers.
Food delivery apps (FDAs) have transformed the way consumers order and consume food, especially
during the mobility limitations of the COVID-19 pandemic. The study has implications for academicians,
food delivery companies, app designers and other app-based businesses as it proves the significance of an
aesthetic app design in evoking positive PAD emotions in consumers during a crisis and strengthens the
explanation of continued usage intentions. [11]

In [12]. The study focuses on four key attributes – visual, navigational, information and collaboration
design and identifies the most important mobile app attributes while choosing a particular online food
aggregator (OFA) in India. Online food-delivery aggregators (OFA’s) are expanding choice and
convenience, allowing customers to order from a wide array of restaurants with a single tap on their smart
phones.

Retailers and their supply-chain partners should reconsider their competitive advantages in today's
technology-enhanced environment and search for opportunities to collaborate. Mobile applications have
emerged as a special form of e-commerce that provide convenience for consumers by saving time and
effort. The main contribution of the results is the finding that MFOA satisfaction plays a critical role in
developing restaurants' brand satisfaction and loyalty. [13]

Mobile food ordering apps (MFOAs) have been widely considered in the restaurant sector as innovative
channels to reach customers and provide them with high-quality services. This study provides a
theoretical contribution and presents practical implications relevant to academics and practitioners
working in areas related to MFOAs. [14]

The research into antecedents of satisfaction and continuous usage intention for OMDPs, in general, is
under researched. Through multiple regression analyses, the researchers found that before quarantine,
sharing economy ethos, price-value, food quality, ease of use and confirmation of beliefs had a significant
impact on satisfaction while during quarantine, food quality, service speed, ease of use, and confirmation
of beliefs were significant. Online meal delivery platforms (OMDPs), like UberEats, have received more
attention since quarantine was established to prevent the spread of COVID-19. [15]

Most studies on O2O services have focused solely on the technological merits of mobile applications,
overlooking the role of the value systems that underlie people’s lifestyles. In contrast, this research sheds
light on how people’s value systems influence their decision to adopt food delivery applications.
Empirical results have supported this assumption by showing that people with a high moral obligation (or
married people) are more reluctant to convert their basic convenience-seeking tendencies into actual
adoption intention than those with a low moral obligation (or single people). The important theoretical
and managerial implications of these results are also discussed. [16]

The main objectives of this study are to verify the underlying service attributes of food delivery
application (FDA), propose a structural model to investigate service dimensions that affect customer
satisfaction and subsequent behavioural constructs in terms of advocacy and intention to reuse the app,
and prioritise the service attributes of FDA. The data were conducted with 1,406 FDA users who have
experienced ordering food through mobile applications in Thailand This study uses structural equation
modelling with consistent partial least squares (PLSc) analysis. [17]

In this study we examine whether and how flexibility benefits of multinationality influence MNEs’ ability
to sustain superior performance. Real options theory is applied widely to the study of MNEs’
international expansions. This stream of research views the MNE as a network that incorporates a
portfolio of options to maximize return in changing environmental conditions. [18]

The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationship between convenience motivation, post-
usage usefulness, hedonic motivation, price saving orientation, time saving orientation, prior online
purchase experience, consumer attitude and behavioral intention towards OFD services. Prior research
has mostly examined consumer attitudes toward online services/retailing in general and a few researchers
have addressed consumer experiences with online food delivery (OFD) services. [19]

Recently, scholars have attempted to understand consumer behavior related to the use of food delivery
apps (FDAs). However, the various motives behind the usage of different FDAs have not been addressed.
The current study worked to fill this gap by developing a psychometrically valid and reliable instrument
that measures different uses and gratifications (U&G) behind the use of FDAs. Additionally, the
association between different U&Gs and intentions to use FDAs were investigated. [20]

This research investigates how the interplay of construal mindsets and message frames affects consumers’
purchase intention regarding online food deliveries during the pandemic. Online delivery providers
(ODPs), representing a growing hospitality industry sector, are playing an unprecedented role in the
coronavirus pandemic. Applying construal level theory and regulatory focus theory. [21]

Online food-delivery platforms provide accessible marketplaces for fast-food restaurants. However, who
should take charge of logistics, especially when there is increasing consumption of plastic containers,
utensils, and other single-use items? In practice, either platform logistics or restaurant's self-logistics is
available. For the former, customers pay for food and logistics services separately, while for the latter,
“food & logistics” is sold in a bundle. we find that the platform logistics strategy is more environment-
friendly when the online market potential is high. [22]

The majority of studies examining online food shopping have provided sufficient evidence highlighting
both the implications and benefits of e-commerce. However, most of these studies generalize all forms of
online shopping and ignore the fact that shopping foods online is inherently different from buying other
commodities. As such, the comprehensive academic review conducted helps at explicating the significant
themes within the current literature. Hence, the critical propositions that reflected from these studies help
in proposing the following four future research directions. [23]

During the global 2020 COVID-19 outbreak, the advantages of online food delivery were sure, as it
facilitated consumer access to prepared meals and enabled food providers to keep operating. However,
online food Delivery is not without its critics, with reports of consumer and restaurant boycotts. It is,
therefore, time to take stock and consider the broader impacts of online food delivery and what they mean
for the stakeholders involved. [24]

This research investigates how the interplay of construal mindsets and message frames affects consumers’
purchase intention regarding online food deliveries during the pandemic. The objective of this research
was to study the behavior and attitudes of consumers from the United Arab Emirates towards using the
World Wide Web (WWW) for ordering food online, as well as their perception of social media’s (e.g.,
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp) impact on increasing their knowledge about their food
quality options. [25].
2.3 Summary:
Online fast food restaurant management is a complex process that involves different aspects such as
ordering, payment, delivery, and customer service. The literature review reveals that the adoption of
online ordering systems has increased dramatically in response to the changing preferences and needs of
customers. Various studies have highlighted the importance of online ordering systems, as they improve
the efficiency of operations, reduce errors, and enhance customer experience. In addition, the use of
mobile applications and social media platforms has helped fast food restaurants to reach out to a wider
customer base, increase customer engagement, and promote brand loyalty. However, online fast food
restaurant management also comes with some challenges such as data security, website crashes, and
handling customer complaints. To ensure effective online fast food restaurant management, it is essential
to develop robust online ordering systems, establish effective communication channels, and provide
quality customer service.
Chapter Three: Methodology
3.1 Introduction:
Agile methodology is an iterative and incremental approach to software development that emphasizes
collaboration, flexibility, and rapid delivery. It involves breaking a project into smaller pieces, called
iterations or sprints, and delivering working software at the end of each iteration. The importance of Agile
lies in its ability to enable teams to respond quickly to changing requirements and customer needs,
resulting in a product that better satisfies the customer.

For developing an online fast-food management system, an Agile software process model would be
appropriate because it would allow the team to respond quickly to changes in customer preferences,
maintain a high level of quality and control, and deliver the product incrementally. An Agile model would
also enable the team to incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders throughout the development
process, ensuring that the final product meets customers' needs and expectations.

3.2 Research Design

In this section, for the development of an online fast-food management system, the most suitable SDLC
model would be the Agile model. The Agile model is a flexible and iterative approach that emphasizes
collaboration between stakeholders, customer satisfaction, and the ability to adapt to changing
requirements. Below are the different stages of the Agile model for developing an Onli ne fast-food
management system:

1. Planning: In this stage, the requirements of the project are defined, and the scope of the project is
determined. The objectives of the project are identified, and the team is established.

2. Design: In this stage, the team designs the system architecture, including the flow of data and system
behaviors. The team also creates test cases for the system.

3. Development: In this stage, the system is built by following the design. The team develops the system
in small increments, ensuring that each increment is tested thoroughly and working well.

4. Testing: In this stage, the team executes the test cases created in the design stage. The team focuses on
detecting and fixing any errors in the system, ensuring it is stable and reliable.

5. Deployment: In this stage, the system is ready for deployment. The team can deploy the system in
stages, making sure to test the system after each deployment.

6. Maintenance: In this stage, the team continues to monitor the system after deployment. The team
makes updates and fixes any issues discovered in the system.
Throughout the Agile model, the team works collaboratively to develop and test the online fast-food
management system. By following this model, the team can quickly adapt to changing requirements and
deliver a product that satisfies the needs of the customer.

The Agile model is important for several reasons:

1. Flexibility: The Agile model is highly flexible and adaptable. It allows for changing requirements and
evolving needs of the project, which is particularly important in today's rapidly changing business
environment.

2. Customer focus: The Agile model focuses on delivering value to the customer and continuously
improving the product. This helps ensure that the end product meets the needs of the customer and
provides value to them.

3. Time-to-market: The Agile model emphasizes delivering working software in small increments, which
allows for faster time-to-market. This is particularly important when businesses need to move quickly to
stay ahead of the competition.

4. Collaboration: The Agile model emphasizes collaboration between project stakeholders, including
developers, customers, and business leaders. This helps ensure that everyone is aligned on project goals
and can work towards delivering a high-quality end product.
5. Transparency: The Agile model prioritizes transparency and visibility into the development process.
This helps everyone involved in the project, including customers and business leaders, stay informed on
progress and any issues that arise.

Overall, the Agile model is important because it allows for faster and more effective development of
software products that meet the needs of customers and provide value to the business. By emphasizing
collaboration, flexibility, and transparency, the Agile model helps businesses stay ahead of the
competition and deliver high-quality products to their customers.

3.2.1 Research techniques:

Our research design will be a cross-sectional survey that will be administered to a sample of fast-food
companies. The survey will include questions that measure company size, online ordering platforms,
delivery methods, marketing strategies, customer satisfaction, and challenges related to online fast-food
management.

asp.net core6

3.3 Summary:
For the development of this project/website we used Agile model, because Agile software process model
would be appropriate because it would allow the team to respond quickly to changes in customer
preferences, maintain a high level of quality and control, and deliver the product incrementally.
The method that we have gather information from out sources for project is surveying method, this
method gathers info from out of the organization by surveying which is done by questioning some of
things and people will vote for it and then we collect those surveys and we will process according to the
survey that we have gathered from outside of organization.

We also used ERD (entity relational diagram) for the management of tables, models and relation among
each other, and also we use DFD (data flow diagram) for the flow of the data, from one section to another
section and, also we use Use Case diagram for showing access of entity to one other.
