Chapter I: The Light Ceremony
“Now it’s the time to begin the Light
Ceremony. All of the souls and our hearts will
combine into one. Good memories, good
times. No hard feelings. Let us begin.”Eleanor,
the nun said. Everyone is gathering at the
church. No one is dressing fancy. But no one is
dressing in awkward clothes. They’re dressed
in normal clothes, and it looks like they’re
praying for good things that are going to
happen in their lives. Get a good job, get a
great husband, or wife, get a good start in
their business, get a good house, take good

care of their family, be a great parent, their
kids be healthy and energetic, intelligent, and
have a good grade, get straight As (that’s too
much pressure for a kid, but it’s normal for a
parent to wish for something like that).
But then, the whole church shakes. The
candles are still shining, but dirt and rocks fall
from the ceiling, which makes them un-shine.
Everyone freaks out. Except for Eleanor. She
just froze.
“It’s finally here. The moment of truth. The
moment of… justice…,” she said. She dropped
her knees to the ground, and looked up to the
sky with a creepy smile, while everyone else
freaked out and ran away. No one stays at the

church, no one cares about Eleanor. No one
knows if she still exists. No one knows if she is
alive. No one knows. No one knows anything…
about that lady.
But, she does know what happened to her.
She’s dead. A freely, soul. She’s finally free
from this cold, cruel world.

“So, what happened in this disastrous place?”

asked P.I, Louis after he examined the
horrendous church after being destroyed by
an unknown source. No one knows for sure
what happened. Some people guess that the
goddesses got mad at us for some reason,

and they use their powers to destroy the main
place where The Festival of Luminescence is.
But in Louis' point of view, he didn’t think
that’s exactly what happened. He thinks it is
just a natural disaster. You see, the problem
here is, that Louis just doesn't believe in
ghosts or monsters or all of that. The truth is,
every one of those things exists. He just
doesn't know it. Louis is just so innocent, he
doesn’t understand a thing about the world
these days. Ghosts are wandering around
everywhere, a few even marched themselves
to Louis, but he never noticed. He does weird
things that he even can not understand, but
he never suspects any of his “wrongdoings”.

Louis just thinks it is a small mistake and
moves on to his ordinary life. I’ll tell you, he’ll
regret that he didn’t do anything about this
sooner.
Well then let us move on. Louis still keeps his
behavior, but not his thoughts. He’ll soon have
to change his mind. But how?
Based on the nun incident, everyone feels
scared because of the town. Especially when
everyone was there to witness it. The nun was
gone. Even though firefighters and police
officers have looked through the whole
destroyed church or the remains of the
church, they can’t find any signs of Eleanor.
Even her skeletons. Even her body parts. They

had searched and searched for days. Nothing
was found. How can she possibly disappear
like that? Unless she is… what we think she is.
Ok, I’m going to stop joking around. A ghost
you see, or a monster. But the most
impossible guess is: that she is still alive. Yes,
she is still alive. They think that she IS still
alive. But where has she gone to? Another
planet? Or is she planning to take revenge on
the whole town?
Well, it’s just a theory they came up with,
there is no real-life evidence for that, but
everyone still believes in that. They thought
that Elena is a monster who comes from hell.

And the reason why everyone believes in that
is that recently they had heard screaming and
crying at night. It is like the sound of a woman.
She even talks loudly about how she is going
to revive real justice in the world, and how
everyone is going to bow down to the brand
new king. Everyone believes that it is Eleanor,
who regrets her old life, and comes back to
bring back the “justice” she had always wished
for. It is the exact thing a nun always wanted.
They want the world to be a better place. They
obey God.
To be honest, the screaming and crying are
real. Almost half of the town gets a bad
headache because of the anonymous woman.

However, when someone was brave enough
to go out and explore the identity of the
woman, no one saw anything around the
street. There are no more sounds. No
shadows in the dark.
No one knows for sure who Eleanor is, nor the
woman. But Louis knows. Today! Today, when
he is coming home from the last case at the
police station, which is not the case with
Eleanor, he sees a dark figure in the lights of
the street. His visions tell him that it was a
woman. Who would wander around the street
at this point? So he decided to come close and
talk to the lady.

“I beg your pardon, madam, but what are you
doing here at this hour? It’s not safe, recently
there've been a lot of drunkards in the streets,
and some of them even ended up in the police
station because they hurt people. Oh, uh,
where do you live? Maybe I can take you
home.”Louis offered the young lady. He stood
there for a while, waiting for an answer from
the woman. She just stands there, looking
down at the ground. A bit later, while Louis is
running out of patience, she slowly turns her
head around.
“Justice… justice…,” she mumbles to herself.
Her face is full of blood, her head tilted down.
She is wearing a black and white gown. This

gloomy night only makes her appearance
more horrendous.
Even though Louis is a fully grown man, 23
years old, he is still afraid of ghosts, which is a
thing. But he doesn’t want to be unholy. “Oh
Uhm, are you testing your costume for
Halloween? It is just a few days away-... Also,
it looks nice!”He tries to compliment the
woman, but he just shakes and shakes, which
only makes the situation more awkward.
“I will come, I will go. But justice will never be
gone…” the lady whispered to herself. And
before Louis passed out because he was such
a scaredy-cat, she disappeared into the
darkness.

Chapter II: Not Romeo With “Juliet”
Louis just returned from work, frightened by
what had happened to him. He arrives at his
P.I headquarters, not his house.
“Yooooo, welcome back partner!”Jason
shouted.
“Why are you still here?”Louis asked in
confusion. Jason had just been fired yesterday
for setting the kitchen on fire.
“Oh, the boss takes his word back because I
have completed a “hard” mission successfully.
He even gives me a badge.” Jason reported.
“Really? That’s unbelievable!”Louis replied in
fake surprise. His co-worker, on the other
hand, looked at him in frustration. Jason

always tries to start a conversation with
others, but Louis is not that talkative to his
partner. But they worked together and
teamed up in finding and solving crimes.
Under all circumstances, they do have a good
relationship, even though they have opposite
personalities.
“I enjoy looking at the mirror,” Jason said to
himself while singing a lovely tune. “I look so
handsome! I am the best employee in all of P.I
Corporation. You do know that, right Louis? I
earned more badges than you do!”Jason
complimented. Louis just rolls his eyes and
continues to read his newspaper. “You’re such
a narcissistic…” he mumbles.

Well, you may think these two are weird. But
that’s just what happens normally at Private
Investigator Corporation.
Where are the other employees? Are there
only two detectives that are currently active?
To answer your question, no. Approximately
100 people are working in the organization,
with more than 3 options to choose from. You
need to choose from those three kinds of jobs:
-Security job
-Detective (P.I) Agency
-Chairpersons, heads of the company
The security job is relaxing, but sometimes it
is quite dangerous. The agency is normal, but
it requires a big brain and a fast reaction.

If you want to be a chairperson, it’s a good
choice. But it also requires a lot of skills and
tests. Even when you make it to be a
chairperson, the pressure will also crash you.

The next morning, he just wakes up. Louis was

pretty tired from work yesterday. He heard a
splash of water and he got soaked all of the
sudden!
“Holy god. What is all this? Did you do this?”
he asked Jason as he was waking up. “Nah not
really. I did that because your fRiEnD is
waiting for you at the headquarters,” he
replied in a mocking tone while pointing to the
door that leads outside.

“Give me a break,” he sputtered. “Make me a
cup of coffee and then I’ll go out…” he said,
still daydreaming.
Jason rolls his eyes when he sees that Louis
doesn’t even care about his joke. He then
made himself go outside and enjoy the sun. At
that point, Louis just got up for the day. He
didn’t even have time to destroy his digital
alarm clock even though it was buzzing like a
crazy bee. He plopped down on the couch
when he just finished washing his face and
eating breakfast. He heard the door gently
open.

“Excuse me, Lew, are you free today?” said a
soft voice. “Who’s that…?” he said lazily, not
even bothering to look at the door.
“Oh umm, it’s me, Juliette. I’ve just come here
to visit you, since... It’s been quite a while. But
I see you are quite busy, so I’ll just go…”
He was drinking his coffee when he suddenly
heard the name “Juliette”, he spitted it out.
“Are you kidding me? Why did you come here?
Don’t you remember what you did to me last
time? I regretted my decision to be friends
with you… You left me alone! YOU MAKE ME
LOSE MY EYE! Now if you want me to calm
down then please leave me alone, I don’t even
have time to see you anyway…”

“Louis, I didn’t mean that… It was all just a
misunderstanding…” she replied in guilt. “It
was Jesse-...”
Louis didn’t even let her finish. He is so tired
because he heard the same reason so many
times. He just kicked her out of the door,
without even saying a word. After that, he
looked at the undrunk coffee cup in dismay,
wondering why she would do that to him. Why
did she need to blame Jesse, even though it’s
all her wrongdoings? He was right there to
witness it, and suffer because of it.
“Maybe it’s not her fault…” said someone. It’s
Jason, who suddenly appears in the room
without any signs of Louis knowing. “I saw

Jesse whisper something to her on that day.
She just keeps quiet to everyone, even the
teacher without saying a word…” he added.
Louis just rolls his eyes.
“How the heck did you know that?” he asked.
Now it’s Jason’s turn to roll his eyes. They've
been best friends since elementary school,
and they go to the same school from
elementary, high school, and college. There's
not much that he didn’t know about Louis. But
there are a lot of things that Louis didn’t know
about Jason; one is that he is a stalker, not
kind of a perverted stalker, but the kind that
always searches for information.

“I know something about Juliette,” Jason
added.”She hasn’t been to school since you
left…”
“And I found her missing report 2 years ago in
the trash bin of our old college. It’s next to
Jesse’s desk…”
“Really? She’s missing? Maybe they’ve found
her… She just appeared here!”Louis answered.
Part of him sounds confused, and some part
of him sounds like he still cares about her, but
not really. “Jesse sounds sus… Have you ever
heard of ``Among Us, Louis?”Jason joked.
(sorry it’s my joke-...).
“Stop joking around…” he said. “There’s a new
movie premiere this weekend. What is it

called? Rise of the Villainess. Sounds lame but
let’s go and watch it.”
“Oh, are you inviting me to go and watch a
movie? That sounds great. But you are acting
so-”
Louis didn’t even let him finish. He just
continued to do his work when he kicked
Jason out of the door.
He had a lot of cases to solve today. Louis
ended up being tired as he ever is. Well, he still
has a good rest.

Chapter III: In the Wondrous
Land

Louis just played a horror game. He freaked
out, mostly because he is such a scaredy-cat.
Ellen, one of his co-workers, who is such a
gamer, said this is one of the most popular
games in the community right now. Louis is
lucky he got to be the beta tester.
“I’m not lucky,” he said. “I’m in horror. That was
just so creepy…”
Of course, it’s easy for Louis to forget
something that he wants to forget. For exactly
10 hours, he completely forgot about what he
experienced.
Well, of course, Louis is a detective, but he
sometimes forgets things too. He is a normal

person. Well, at least that’s what he thought
he was.

“Hey Lou! Look what I just found…,” shouted
Jason from afar. Louis just wanted to study
some cases so that he could leave early from
work. Nevertheless, he didn’t want to be
disrespectful to Jason, so he came and
checked it out.
“I got this gift from a stranger on the street.
He’s a beggar, he gave me this book. He just
“begged” for me to have it. And guess what!
He didn’t even beg for my money.” he started.

“Take a look at this book… It seems weird.
There is a snake with 4 heads on the cover.”
Louis flipped through the pages. He didn’t see
a lot of letters. It is filled with words like:

“What is all this?” asked Louis. “This is
suspicious for a man to write. Surely this is
written by a woman, by the word, “nun is not
my identity”. Maybe that person, probably a
female, pretends to be a nun?” he guessed.
“Wait… Louis! This sounds rather familiar.
Aren't these all the keywords referring to the
nun case from earlier?”

“You’re right… But maybe it’s just a
coincidence…”
“No, I’m sure it’s not…”
They flipped through a few more pages to see
if there are any more clues to find. They didn’t
find a lot more. Until the last page…

Louis thought for a moment. No, this can’t be
related to her! I need her to be safe… Just that, if I
die, I’m fine. But if something happens to her… He
shakes his head.
“My sister is attending the scholarship contest
for Spanish…” Louis told Jason. “Maybe it’s
about her…”
“But I can’t believe it if something happens to
her… No…”
“Hey bud, you’re overreacting! Surely it’s
about her… Maybe it’s just something in her
register paper?”
“You’re right, maybe the clue is written in
there…”

The scholarship test starts tomorrow. They
don’t even know if this is real, but what they
do know is, that Louis doesn’t want to meet
his parents.
“Why though?”Jason asked. “Your family loves
you. You’re a great detective. You helped the
whole city.”
“How could they not love you or anything?”
“Well, you see, the thing is. Since I am so
wrapped up in my work, I have never been
able to get a chance to visit them… My sister’s
school is near here, so I can talk to her often.
But my parents are at least 3 hours away from
here. They also did not approve of me being a
detective, or even a police officer, which I had

always dreamed of. They worried a bit too
much about me. They say being a detective is
always too dangerous, and I should just stick
to being a normal businessman. My parents,
mostly my mom, are disappointed because I
quit school so soon to work out on my job. I’m
afraid of meeting them, maybe they’ll argue
with each other. I don’t want that to happen.
Can we just quit this case and work on
another one? I don’t think I can handle it…”
Suddenly Ellen walks in. She saw the two guys
and tell them:
“Oh Louis, I heard you. Do you want me to tell
you a story?”
“Huh? What story?”

“I’ll just get started. There once was a little
princess. She was an icky, picky one. Everyone
thought she was disastrous. One time, she
was picking food. Those aren’t normal foods
though. Freshly baked toffee pie; a
combination of all the wondrous things in the
world. The princess was also a little darling;
with her sweet-sounding mouth. But deep in
her thought, she never liked anything. The
same happened to the poor uncle's toffee pie,
which the fork went straight into.
She doesn’t like to eat it. “It was too sweet!”
she commented.
Time goes by. The little princess soon turned
into a bit more mature princess. The king and

queen, who were both old as Adam, decided it
was time for their child to get married. They
put her on a carriage and send her to every
kingdom and find their perfect son-in-law.
Soon she went through lands, mountains, and
valleys. But she hasn't changed a lot since her
childhood, so she couldn’t find the perfect one.
She realizes that she will die because of aging
soon, and so will her father and mother. She
wanted to make them proud. If she can’t find
anyone, it would be a waste for the royal
family. They will be disappointed, and maybe
kick her out of the castle.
Well, she is lucky. And she finally found the
perfect choice for her. After a long time.

RETURNS. THE END.”
“Say whaaattttttt?” said Jason.
“How can it end like that?”Louis said. He feels
disappointed because of the ending, and also
feels sad for the princess.
“Well. I am just advising you. TO NOT RETURN
HOME AND JUST QUIT THE CASE…”
“I can’t! This is just a great clue, so we need to
find out…” he replied. “Besides, I’m worried
about my sister too!”
“Lou Lou Lou. You’re overreacting too much
bro. I’m sure she’s fine. And let’s face the
truth: your parents may be mad at you. But
they’ll be grateful to see you!” he tapped Louis

on the shoulder. “I’m sure everything will be
fine…!”
“You’re right.” he began to breathe in and out
slowly.
They began to drive their car to the place
where Louis' sister lives.

“Who’s there?” asked an old man.

“Uh, dad? It’s me, Louis…!” he answered.
