During our First day in Socsargen County Hospital, I experienced how it’s important to organize my daily schedule because a daily
schedule gives you control over your day and It gives you the structure and consistency needed to make the most of your day.
I’ve learned that if you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary. As a student nurses, we should
do our best so that we can achieve whatever we want.
I'm glad because I accomplished something I never thought I'd be able to do. I gained confidence and realized that I could become as effective as a
nurse if I put my heart into what I'm doing.
During our Second day in Socsargen County Hospital, I experienced how student nurses and their work environment
influence patient perceptions of the quality of care. Being assigned in Operating Room as a Scrub nurse it was very
challenging for me because my case is Laparoscopic cholecystectomy again so, As a student nurse I need to prove to my
self that I can do this but I feel a little bit of worried since my surgeon is Dr. Monticello so it’s known/Strict in “Sterlity” but
I realized surgeons are only human and as such, they fail from time to time. One of the most comforting things that this
surgeon shared is that, in fact, his colleagues don’t think they are gods.

I’ve Learned that Bile flows freely into our small intestine without our gallbladder, where it cannot break down food as
effectively as it did before. While you can live without your gallbladder, you may need to make some dietary changes to
compensate.

I feel bad because of my performance because I’ve set expectation to myself. And I think I should strive more and it
feels wasteful to not try to be my best. And progress feels good.
During our Third day in Socsargen County Hospital, I experienced how to deal with different people or to socialize other nurses especially
with the different staff in socsargen county hospital so that I can easily to ask them or approach.

As a Circulating Nurse, I’ve learned that I was in charged for the upcoming surgery, determined the availability of supplies, materials,
instruments, and equipment needed. And also circulating nurse is the center of coordination in the room, the runner. During and After the
surgery, I was tasked to make sure the normal vital signs of my patient and acknowledge that the surgeon is the captain during the entire
surgical process and looks up to the nurse give cues of what he/she needs that the nurse anticipates.

I feel happy because I truly appreciate the time and effort of myself to memorize/ familiarize the different procedures and equipment so that
I can perform well. I think this experience helps me to motivate myself in dealing different problems that I. And also as a Scrub Nurse we need
to always maintain the sterility and assisting the surgeon’s work directly.
During my first day in Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital, I experienced how can I relieve my anxiety in operating room. As a student nurse,
It is totally normal to feel anxious before we start in operation and Sir john Castillo remind me that It is important to make sure that fears and
anxiety don't become too overwhelming. We all know that anxiety is very storng in feeling. Knowing what experiences in my life has led me to
worry the way I do doesn’t necessarily change anything. It doesn’t stop me from continuing such behavior, but paired with my motivation to
change it, it can help me see which areas in my life I need to work on so that I don’t worry like I have been. My perfectionism, is something that
feeds into my worry. I worry so much about the what if’s, when there is no guarantee any of those worries will come true. One way to cope up
this might be to accept that worrying won’t change anything.

I’ve learned that I need to study harder and accept the fact. The goal or purposed of this is to help me as a learner improve my competence,
capacity, and performances. Being assigned in Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital helps me gain new knowledge and skill. And also as a Scrub
Nurse we need to always maintain the sterility and assisting the surgeon’s work directly.

I feel sad that time because I always have a high expectation for myself but I realized that managing our expectations is the key to
Happiness. And I think this experiences thought me that We can’t avoid making mistakes, but we can learn and grow from them.
