The professional development course in peacebuilding and conflict transformation is a one-year program that integrates theory, research, and practice for peace and development leaders who are from Africa, have worked in Africa, or work with African communities or initiatives outside the continent. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, or development. Fellows will learn how to use their experience to influence policies and initiate action to transform society through Positive Peace. “I can’t explain what an amazing experience this has been for me. The fellowship has made me more determined to pursue my social change initiative on peace journalism. The instructors shared practical experiences that made it easy to grasp many theoretical approaches.” — Patience Rusare (2021)
