When it comes to a new construction, it is said that the function, purpose of the

building will be more important than its appearance. In my opinion, I strongly agree
with the above opinion. But it cannot be denied that the appearance of the building is
also very important.

The value of the building will increase if it has a splendid appearance. We see, in
some shopping malls, the outward appearance is very well-designed. Not only does it
enhance the value but also attracts customers. As a result, more money are spent on
shopping that help benefit the profits. In addition, the aesthetics of the works will
create beautiful landscapes for the city, gradually attracting tourists and becoming a
appealing tourist destination. For example, Landmark 81, the tallest building in
Vietnam. The building has architecture inspired by bamboo bushes, covered with
glass panels that look very prominent, at every event the building will be decorated
extremely eye-catching. This is always the check-in place for tourists.

To me the most important element of a project is its functionality. There are many
types of buildings with different uses such as houses, offices, schools, hospitals .... It
is imperative that these buildings be designed differently depending on the purpose of
use. For example, the design of houses and schools will be different because of
different needs. People will calculate so that the function of the building is suitable for
the needs of the user. The designers will calculate to build the work in accordance
with its function to best suit the needs of the building owner.

In summary, although both factors are important, I agree that the value of a building
will increase if it has a splendid appearance, creating a beautiful view of the city. And
it is equally important that the function of the buildings must match the needs of the
user.
