hello everyone, my name is Deema and in this part i will be presenting to the

smart way to set goals.

A smart goal stands for di erent criteria we should keep under consideration
while setting our goals

First,

S stands for Speci c, which means that we should describe our goals with m as
much details as possible

Second,

M stands for measurable, which means that we have to set a goal that can be
measured, for example, our goal of graduating at 2024 with gpa of 3.5 can be
measured with quizzes, assignments, and exams

Third,

A stand for Action plan, which means that we should set a clear methodology
and action plan to accomplish the goal such as making a study schedule

Fourth,

R stands for realistic, we cannot say that we want to graduate at 2022 when we
still have 50 credits remaining until graduation

Sixth,

T stands for target date, this means the we should set a date to accomplish the
goal. If our goal is to graduate at 2024 with a gpa of 3.5. Instead i was lazy to
take some courses and graduated at 2026. This means that i did not stick to the
target date

Locus of control refers to how much you feel you have control over your life and
how your decisions change your life

there are two type locus of control: internal and external

people that have internal locus of control believe that they have power over the
events of their life

for example:when failing an exam they will take responsibility of their action and
believe that they failed because they did not study well

however people external locus of control believe that the events happening in
their life is controlled by luck.

for example: when failing an exam, they will not take responsibility for their
actions. they will believe that their failure is because the professor doesn’t like
them, or that they weren’t lucky
