Identify the type of cellular respiration of the hummingbird (clearly state whether it’s
aerobic or anaerobic).
Since hummingbirds must breathe in oxygen to survive, their cellular respiration is aerobic.
In actuality, a flying hummingbird's muscle mitochondria produce 7–10 milliliters of oxygen per
cm3.
Describe the methods that hummingbirds use to communicate with one another.
They can communicate in a variety of ways, but the two main ones are sounds and their
flight patterns.
Describe the reproduction cycle of the hummingbird and identify the type of
reproduction (Is it sexual or asexual?)
Because they require a partner in order to begin reproducing with the cycle, they reproduce
sexually. They typically lay two eggs, which take 15 to 18 days to hatch.
Describe 5 more characteristics of the hummingbird and relate them to the text, the
first one is given as an example (you may keep it or replace it
