The focus of this lesson is to ask "Can you take my picture?" in Korean

Topic 1: How to ask someone to take a picture

Sentence from the lesson:

'사진 좀 찍어주시겠어요?'
sajin jom jjigeojusigesseoyo?
"Can you take my picture?"

1. You can ask 실례하지만, 사진 좀 찍어 주세요? "Excuse me but, can you take a
picture?" when asking someone take a picture. 실례하지만 is "Excuse me" 사진
means "Photograph." 좀 literally means "A little bit." This word is used a lot when
asking for a favor. 찍어 주세요 means "Please take."
2. Also it's good to explain where the button is. "Please press here" in Korean is 여기
2 눌러주세요.
3. The photographer might say 김치! It's lot like saying "Cheese" in English, because
when you say it your mouth naturally smiles.

Language Tip!

Have you ever seen Korean style of posing for pictures? It might seem weird but we always
make a peace sign with our hands, like this! Try it out the next time you take a picture in
Korea! You will be Korean in the picture the next day.
