Cons of Chemical Fertilizer and Pros of Organic Fertilizer

Chemical fertilizer is manufactured from refined organic or (more frequently) artificial matter, where
nutrients have been removed and mixed with chemical fillers to make a synthetic solution. This
"inorganic," artificial fertilizer is frequently made of petroleum, crushed rock, or other nonrenewable
resources. Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, and occasionally micronutrients are the main
elements found in chemical fertilizers. The positive effects of chemical fertilizer, because of their
advantages over natural alternatives, synthetic fertilizers are frequently used. Is less expensive, display
more rapid results, less difficult to combine with other applications and diverse, easier to apply.
Chemical fertilizer's negative effects many issues with chemical fertilizers include: Few nutrients present,
pollution, having a PH balance issue or overfertilization, and more frequent application is necessary
(Green Sphere,2016).

Often, organic fertilizer is created from plant or animal waste, such as compost or manure.
Moreover, they might be highly processed goods with a compost or manure foundation. The benefits of
employing organic fertilizer include improved soil structure, thriving microbes, sustainability and
environmental friendliness, reduced use of pesticides and fertilizers, and reduced risk of plant damage.
Not all organic fertilizers are created equally, nutrient levels are low, and making your own compost is a
difficult process (Kaitlyn Ersek, 2021).
