 Cases with gastritis are one of the most common types of cases suffered by
adolescents, especially this disease is increasing in student. caused by various factors, such as
irregular patterns of eating, wrong lifestyle and increased activity The cause of gastritis
according to Herlan in 2001 is alcohol intake excessive (20%), smoking (5%), spiced foods
(15%), drugs (18%) and radiation therapy (2%), whereas according to Hasna and Hurih in
2009 gastritis It can also be caused by bacterial infection, stress, autoimmune disease,
radiation and Crohn's Disease. One of the causes of gastritis is infection with Helicobacter
bacteria pylori (H. pylori) and is the only bacterium that lives in the stomach. These bacteria
can infect the stomach since childhood and cause chronic gastric disease.
male adult client named Dito aged 26 years has a history of gastritis since 2 months
ago, currently Dito lives at home which is located at Jl. Pelabuhan 38. Dito has the
characteristics of a tall and big body, he works for a well-known company in the city of
Malang. namely a building materials supermarket. Dito is currently experiencing a recurrence
of his illness after consuming spicy food. Dito has acute gastritis when inflammation of the
stomach lining occurs suddenly. Acute gastritis will cause severe heartburn, but only
temporary.
