Medical emergency, loses Hypothermia is a medical emergency that occurs when your body loses
heat, heat faster than it can produce heat, causing a dangerously low body
temperature.

Hypothermia below 35C Normal body temperature is around 98.6 F (37 C). Hypothermia occurs
degrees as your body temperature falls below 95 F (35 C).

Lose heat faster When exposed to cold temperatures, your body begins to lose heat
faster than it's produced.
3 stages symptoms
Lengthy exposures will eventually use up your body's stored energy,

The signs and symptoms of the three different stages of


hypothermia are:
 First stage: shivering,
 Second stage: slow, weak pulse, slowed breathing, lack of
co-ordination, irritability, confusion and sleepy behaviour;
 Advanced stage: slow, weak or absent respiration and
pulse.

For someone with mild hypothermia, it is enough to cover them with


heated blankets and offer warm fluids to drink.

Summary:
Hypothermia is body losing heat faster than its produced.

Mild Hypothermia can be cure by opposing heat to the body.
