Sir/Madam:

Greetings of Peace and Goodwill!

It is the vision and mission of our institution to develop professionally competent and
responsible BS Criminology students to face challenges in the field of Law Enforcement.

In this connection, I would like to inform your good office that the College of Criminal Justice
Education is on the process of exposing our future law enforcers in the actual
Police/Fire/Jail/Investigation works through their On-the-job-Training (OJT)/Community Immersion
Program.

Furthermore, this program is one way to train and prepare our incoming law enforcers to cope
up with the great expectation of the people in our community. It lingers on the philosophical principles
of bridging the gap between “Theory and Practice”. Thus, I would like to recommend the subject
Practicum I (On-the-Job Training and Community Immersion) for this second semester Academic Year
20_-20_ to undergo OJT/Community Immersion in your office/agency. They are required to complete
Five Hundred Forty (540) hours starting ___ and ends on ____________.

The College of Criminal Justice Education shall deeply appreciate feedbacks in their performance
to determine their grades.

Also, please find attached the OJT Manual for Criminology Students for your reference and
information on the policies governing OJT and Community Immersion Program; students responsibilities
and other related concerns.

Thank You and More Power.

Respectfully yours,
