Kids Got Talent

“Kids Got Talent" is a Romanian Talent Television Show, where children between the ages of three and
sixteen perform for the great prize of ten thousand Euros.

The TV show debuted in 2009 when 12-year-old Marcela Vaida won the competition with her lyrical
dance solo. The contest is presented by Radu Declan, who also hosts Wheel of Fortune. In 2016 the
show was divided into two age categories, one for children under 12 and one for teenagers. One season
lasts from March until July when the great final takes place. The preselection takes place in January
when the competitors are assigned. The show airs every Thursday and Saturday at 7 p.m.

“ Kids Got Talent” usually begins with an introductive performance, by an invited celebrity, which
presents the competitors and encourages them. Every routine lasts up to five minutes and can be
anything from singing and dancing, to acting and magic tricks. Moreover, every contestant is
interviewed afterwards when they get to introduce themselves, talk about their performance and
present their life story. Furthermore, at the end of the contest, each participant receives a score and
feedback from the jury.

To conclude, although this show is primarily intended for children, it is recommended to anyone who is
interested in supporting young talents who might become future incredible celebrities.
