OBJECTIVE
This project involves design and development of a Service Market place website UrbanClap to
Client XYZ in a collaborative environment of meet the business objectives. The website should
be easy to use and meet the requirements of client XYZ.

SCOPE
This project is a service marketplace website which basically used to hire local professionals to
perceive things done in daily life. A user can post their required service and service provider can
reply to that with budget and timeline to complete the appropriate job.
There will be three panels:

 Admin panel: Admin will perform activities like user management, category
management, service provide profile management, payment management, refund
management, order cancellation management.
 Service provider panel: Service providers will manage their profile, receive jobs, accept
or reject jobs, perform jobs, get online payment, checkout earnings, check history of
their work, set reminder for scheduled booking.
 User panel: User can choose categories, view profile of service providers, hire them,
apply discount, reviews and ratings, check history, make payment, invite friends, use of
discount offer code.
TASKS
Entire project will be divided in the following tasks. It describes the activities that need to
perform in order to complete project on time.

 Wireframes designing: This is the initial step that will provide a blue print of our Service
marketplace website. Tools: AXURE, SKETCH.
 Frontend Development: After the approval of designs by client, we’ll prepare frontend
designs by using HTML, CSS, and JS. After the approval of these designs when once
development is start then only minor changes can be done, not major.
 Database designing: Database designing will start after the approval of Frontend design.
We’ll use MySQL or Mongo DB for it.
 Backend Development: Entire backend will be developed by the developers in .net, Php
or java language.
 Testing: After the development, testers will test website by module wise and update
bugs on REDMINE.
 Debugging: Developers will start debugging process.
 Hosting: After successful debugging, website will host on server.
 Deployment: After successful hosting, we’ll deploy Webapp on cloud hosting.
