SERVICE MARKETPLACE WEB AND MOBILE APPS – NOW ALL
DONE WHILE YOU RELAX AT HOME!
Team Aquadsoft is pleased to submit this proposal to you. We thrive to bring perfection, innovation
and, thus, quality in all the products that we develop and design. We have worked hard to compete
with ourselves every day to constantly improve our methodology and skills.

It is our understanding that you seek to develop an Android and an iOS application, along with a
backend to manage the services, the orders and the vendors and users, as the vital part of your
business. We also understand that you wish to develop a website, with these apps as
complementary.

Team Aquadsoft believes that we are highly qualified to assist and guide through this important
engagement.

Team Aquadsoft combines strategic thinking and emerging technologies to provide innovative
solutions that consistently break new ground.

OBJECTIVES & SCOPE OF WORK OF THE PROPOSED

SUITE OF WEB AND MOBILE APPS
The major objective of the project is to create a web and 2 mobile apps that would let the users
request for home services like electrical repair, AC repair, plumbing, massage, cleaning, appliance
repair, carpentry etc.

The web and mobile apps will feature as a service marketplace – so there will be 4 types of users:

1. Customer User

2. Vendor User

3. Service Professional User

4. Admin
There will also be an admin panel to manage all the users and update the content (videos, pictures,
text and links).

Basic Workflow (Customer End):

The customer users will register via email. A profile will be made automatically. There will be
different categories of services (provided by the client; will remain fixed). The customer user will
select the category/ies and the sub-category/ies and all the services – the package therein from the
vendor - they wish to avail. They select the address, they select the payment method and pay for the
service. After the service is over, they can rate the professional and the vendor.

Basic Workflow (Vendor End):

The admin will assign the service professional who will have to complete the delivery of the service.
Basic Workflow (Admin End):
The admin will complete the registration of the vendors and the executives. The vendor and executive
CRUD operations will be here.

APPROACHES AND METHODOLOGY

We propose to use the Waterfall model for this development engagement.
Any phase in the development process begins only if the previous phase is complete, i.e., the phases
do not overlap. The outcome of one phase acts as the input for the next phase sequentially.
The sequential phases are: –

 Requirement Elicitation and analysis − All possible requirements of the system to be

developed are captured in this phase and documented in a requirement specification document.
 System Design − The requirement specifications from first phase are studied in this phase and
the system design is prepared. This system design helps in specifying hardware and system
requirements and helps in defining the overall architecture.
 Implementation − With inputs from the design team, the website is first developed in small
programs called modules, which are integrated in the next phase. Each module is developed
and tested for its functionality.
 Integration and Testing − All the modules developed in the implementation phase are
integrated into one system after testing of each module. Post integration, the entire system is
tested for any faults and issues.
 Deployment of website − Once the functional and non-functional testing is done, the product
is deployed in the customer environment, and then, released into the market.
 Maintenance − There are some issues which come up in the end-user environment. To fix
those issues, patches are released. Maintenance is done to deliver these changes in the end-user
environment.
All these phases are cascaded to each other in which progress is seen as flowing steadily downwards
through the phases. The next phase is started only after the defined set of goals is achieved for
previous phase and it is signed off from both parties.
In order to make our engagement a success, we should try to ensure the following −
 Requirements are very well documented, clear and fixed.
 Technology is understood and is not dynamic.
 There are no ambiguous requirements.
 Ample resources are available.
 The project has a definite time-period.
