Purpose:
It has been determined that the possibility exists of incorrect attachment between the
throttle cable rod end and the fuel injector servo arm.
If this condition exists and is left uncorrected contact could occur between the
attachment hardware cotter pin and the elbow on the fuel supply line to the injector
with possible failure to cotter key and/or damage to fuel line fitting. Failure of the
cotter key could result in eventual loss of throttle control.
This Service Release provides instructions and illustrations to correctly install the
throttle rod end attachment hardware to the fuel injector servo arm.
Instructions:
1. Gain access to the fuel injector servo by removal of top engine cowl.
2. Inspect fuel line fitting for damage. If damaged, replace.
3. Disconnect throttle linkage from fuel injector servo arm and reinstall per
the illustration.
4. Reinstall cowling and make appropriate log book entry of compliance with
this Service Release.
