1. Give three (3) reasons why Mcdonald’s decided to develop their existing strategy
The Mconals decide to develop their existing strategy since (1) they want to maximize their
target market, (2) they want to understand how to describe their products in a compelling way,
and (3) they want to know what the consumers want, such as burgers, salads, spaghetti, etc.
In my perspective, McDonald’s strategy in STP is efficient since you would maximize your
target market and also know the preferences of the consumers based on their strategy.
3. Do you think this strategy will also work for Jollibee knowing that it is now
said earlier, it maximizes the target market. It’s not only for children; the products are also good
for adults. Moreover, the food will also be liked by different nationalities.
My key takeaway from this activity is that having a segmenting manager in your business would
be effective since you would know all the preferences of your consumers.
