Answer:
- The three businesses that I think I will be most successful at are Grocery Store, Cosmetic
Store, Car Wash services because I think these businesses can initiate to any residential area and
most highly in demand nowadays.

How many Filipino entrepreneurs today do you think also underwent the product or
service planning and development process before they become successful
entrepreneurs? Do you think the product or service planning and development
process is really crucial for all entrepreneurs? Why or why not?

Answer:
I think there’s only 30% of the Filipino entrepreneurs today who underwent the product
or service planning and development process before they become successful. Yes, It is really
crucial for all entrepreneurs because if you underwent through product or services planning you
will learn some strategy that will help you shore up and identify the potential weaknesses of your
business.

Answer:
1. Yes, because all successful entrepreneurs requires to apply this systematic way to venture his
business because through this the business will operate and it will lead him or her to the most
effective strategies to employ. If ever I had to start a business I would definitely use those ways
to determine the potential customer or investors, who’s likely to buy the product, how big my
business is, who are my competitors, and what mostly product and services that in demands in
order to avoid failures on my business.
2. Quantitative and Qualitative Methods, because most of the people and researchers used this
method to describe the variation, to conduct surveys, computational techniques and to interviews
that will help us to generate knowledge and create understanding about the social world and to
seek opinions and explore social interactions and process.
3. Smartphone, because smartphone is very important as we are living in the technology area
also this will allow people to get in touch with each other easily through emails, texting, video
calls and to get new updates immediately from our loved ones and friend.

Module 4 – Product Development, Operations, and Financial Plan

Which three companies for you have the best or ideal business model in the
Philippines or in your locality? Do you think these companies complied with the green
lights and avoided the red lights?

Answer:
For me, the three companies that has the best ideal business model in the Philippines are
BDO Unibank, Coca- Cola FEMSA, and San Miguel Corporation. Yes, they complied with the
green lights and avoided the red lights because their businesses succeed and has high customer
satisfaction in terms of low pricing and better distribution which determines that this company
offer significant value to customers and easy to locate.

1. Name a business or a company you are very familiar with that you think is very
successful in implementing its marketing plan. Specifically cite what this business did
effectively in its marketing plan implementation.

implementing its marketing plan. Specifically cite what it did wrong in its marketing
implementation.
3. Based on your own personality, which among the four sales strategies works for you
as a buyer? Why do you say so?

Answer:
1. Jollibee Corporation , because this company has a variety of good-taste food, fast service, budget
friendly and very affordable that makes family and friends enjoy eating together.
2. Pizza Hut, because this business tend to not deliver because it’s known as dine-in restaurant and most
of the customers want their food to be delivered.
3. For me, I think Persuasive selling ,because they can point out the benefits of the product and because
they wanted to convince you they tend to appeal their services or product.
4. For me, Direct selling because you can interact directly to the seller and if you have any concerns
towards the product you can ask them easily. For example beauty products, it’s better to see the products
personally so that you will know if the products work on you or not compatible on you.

Module 6 – Implementation of a Business Operations Plan

Reflect Upon:

1. If you were to establish your own product (goods) business now describe briefly how
you will implement warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.
2. Cite two real companies/entrepreneurs that practice efficient warehousing,
transportation, and inventory management. Why do you say so?

Answer :
1. I will first make a plan on how big my business is, facility layout, and to keep my warehouse
clean. For Transportation, I will make a plan first on how much the transportation will cost every
delivery and after that I will buy a vehicle that we will use to deliver the products to the customers.
For Inventory management, I will determine the quantity on hand amounts and I will make sure that
there is a proper storage for my products and also keep the inventory prices updated to avoid surplus
or shortage
2. San Miguel Corporation and Coca-Cola FEMSA because their company succeed on maintaining
their status , they have high customer satisfaction and also they became known and have a lot of
franchises outside of the country.
Module 7 – Financial Statement Analysis and Overall Interpretation of Business Results

1. Is it still important to revise business strategies even though they are really working
well? Why or why not?
2. Can you think of a very successful business or a company that eventually failed? What
do you think could be its shortcomings?

Answer:
1. Yes, is it still important to revise business strategies even though they are really working well, the
entrepreneur must not stop researching as research is a iterative process because most of the entrepreneurs
become successful only on their first few years but eventually fail later on because they were not able to
do more research.
2. Nokia, because they miss out on changing their marketing strategies instead they only focus working
on their hardware that make other customers loss their interest.
