WHAT…no food!

The digestive system, home to where our body receives and absorbs the food that we eat for us to
receive energy. All the alimentary canals and the associated organ work together to digest our food.

Get ready to chew this delicious breakfast, said the mouth. You got it, passing it to you esophagus, said
the teeth. You got it. Hey, stomach it's coming to you, said the esophagus. How's it going guys, the brain
said. Everything is fine brain, anyway got it esophagus. Here comes carbohydrate for you small intestine,
said the stomach. Why thank you stomach. Hey, fiver split your glucose, said the small intestine. That's
perfect, go do your thing muscle, said the liver. We're doing well brother and sister, we're doing well,
said the muscle.

Everything was going well the liver splitting the muscle and the small intestine converting glucose,
fructose, and galactose into carbohydrates until the brain said some shocking news. Ummm... looks like
we're fasting. Guess it's because the owner wants to maintain a good body. said the brain. NO00000...
said all the organs of the digestive system. Don't worry guys I'll take care of everything, said the brain.

After 1 week, the brain asks the organ how's everything. Not so bad dude I'm using the glycogen we
had in the pantry and I'm starting to sew them all away. Thank you for telling me glucagon said the liver.
No problem liver it's at least can do since the pancreas keep on bothering me, said the glucagon
Hey...Not nice glucagon, not nice! , said the pancreas We're pretty good, said the muscle. A few days
later, the brain asks again how's everything. Well, we're out of glucose so I tried to go into ketosis but
stomach isn't looking too good, said the liver. Brain, hunger is back, and if this keeps on going you’re
going to have a headache. No no no no no. Once the hunger is back fasting is over, I'll signal the owner
to eat. THANK YOU BRAINNNN, said all the organs.

After the owner eats, everything went to normal.
