TASK 10

MANAGING THE
LEARNING
ENVIRONMENT
PROF. MAY Q. APAT
REFLECTION
Non-intrusive off-task behavior blends in while being idle,
making doodles, or acting like you're at work. frequently rummage
through their desk, locker, or other belongings. Imagine that they are
starting a process or working on something, but not making much
progress. Make noises to yourself in a quiet manner, such as
murmuring.

I discovered that every person experiences their own unique life

events, difficulties, or problems. In my opinion, this is also one of the
reasons for some students' non-disruptive off-task behavior, which
may cause them to simply spend a lot of time looking through
various items. As a result, disruptive student behaviors are those that
hinder learning and instruction and have the potential to get worse or
spread if ignored. The majority of these behaviors are manageable if
a teaching environment is created that uses proactive problem-
solving methods.
REFLECTION
When we talk about proactive classroom management, we're
talking about teacher behavior and how the classroom is set up—
specifically, behavior that can foresee the onset of problematic
behavior. Instead of frequently stopping students for inappropriate
behavior, I think teachers who employ these proactive behavior
management strategies spend more class time on engaging and
high-quality instruction. I'll clean and arrange the classroom as a
result to help keep a calmer, more controlled atmosphere.
Additionally, I'll make sure that their room is organized and
functional in every way.
