● What are you looking forward to in the next three months?
● What information about your life would be helpful for your instructor to know this semester?
● What good things are happening in your life this semester?
● What is something unique about you?

I choose to answer the first and the fifth questions.

From my point of view, Italian food has many comforting meals. When my partner and I go
out, we usually have dinner at Italian restaurants or pizzerias. Our favorite place to eat at is an
all-you-can-eat restaurant which is called “muerde la pasta” (“bite the pasta”).
I expect this semester to be a good one for me. Last week, I quit my job at Taco Bell after two
years, because it was affecting my mental health and I had almost no spare time. The good
thing is that Monday I started working for the Church as an administrative assistant for the
Facility Management group. Currently, I’ll only work 15 hours per week but this would allow
me to set time to magnify my callings (relief society president) and serve my family. I set
other goals for this year but those are my top priorities.

7. What is one thing your instructor can do to help build your confidence to
succeed in this course?

As you may know, English is not my first language, so I would appreciate some tips on how to
improve my pronunciation.

8. Ask your instructor one question. It can be about anything! Look at question 6 for
help if you need it.

I read your family and you are from Philippines. Do you have any ancestor from Spain? I love
family history and genealogical research!

Optional: Paste or insert a photo here. Many times, the photo in your iLearn profile is too
small, and your instructor can’t really see who you are. You may include a photo here that is bigger and
helps your instructor know you better. Feel free to include a photo with family members or friends if you
would like, but make sure you identify yourself in the photo. For example, "I am the one sitting on the
left."

This is me with my cat (we have two cats). He loves sitting in my

desk every time I use the pc. He even follows the “mouse” in the
screen!
