1. There was a complete absence of anti Zamindar violence
2. Lower level of government officials maintained government loyalty
3. The Muslim League showed a low key response
Which of these statements is/are correct?

a. 2 and 3 Only

Solution
All three statements are not entirely correct.
1. While there was no large-scale anti-Zamindar violence during the Quit India Movement, there were
instances of violence against Zamindars in certain regions of India. The movement did witness some
sporadic violence and destruction of property in certain areas, particularly in Bihar and Bengal.
2. Many lower-level government officials did indeed maintain their loyalty to the British government during
the Quit India Movement. However, there were also numerous instances of civil disobedience, strikes,
and protests by government employees across the country.
3. The Muslim League's response to the Quit India Movement was not low key. In fact, the League initially
supported the movement, but later withdrew its support due to disagreements with the Indian National
Congress's demand for immediate independence.
Therefore, none of the statements are entirely correct.
