This section contains a brief summary of the background information relevant to the study design
and protocol methodology. Sufficient information includes description of disease/condition of interest
and present knowledge of the subject matter of the research. This information is necessary in
order to understand what the study is for.
The development of new food production technology is essential for meeting man's survival
needs. The usage of farmlands for food production and industrial uses exceeds the environment's
carrying capacity. The study determine the applicability of Hydroponics farming using a Styrofoam
towards a sustainable Development in Brgy. San Manuel Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
The study examines the technology's long-term viability and acceptability to the farmers of
sustainable resources. By using experimental method, interview, and Focused Group Discussions
(FGD), this study is established it’s viability. The used of hydroponics farming using a Styrofoam can
provide a high quality, and fresh sustainable resources by putting a hydroponic sulotion and
maintaining the requires sunlight and watering the plant.
This study aims to improve the production of sustainable resources and helps our farmers to generate
a clean and fresh sustainable resources. It also aims to investigate the difference between the
Organic method of farming and the hydroponic method farming.
This study aims at answering the following questions: 1- To What is the possible effect of hydroponic
farming using a styrofoam on our farmers?
2- What is the difference in terms of growth rate between the hydroponic farming using a styrofoam
compared to the organic farming?
3. Is it safe to eat the sustainable resources that have been grown using the hydroponic method?
Significance of the study The importance of this study is to help our farmers in producing clean
and fresh sustainable resources. It will also help with the insufficiency
of our sustainable resources because the innovation of Hydroponics
farming using Styrofoam can produce a higher yield of fruits and
vegetables because plants in a hydroponic system are more densely
spaced together than the size of land required to grow the same
number of plants. The innovation of Hydroponics farming using
Styrofoam can also saves space from the land area and some
studies says that consuming of sustainable resources developed
by the
hydroponic farming can reduce risk of cancer and heart disease.
Scope and Limitation The purposed of this study is to the have a raise production rate
of sustainable resources using the innovation of Hydroponics
farming using a Styrofoam. The scope of this study will be only
limited to those who can’t afford this type of farming in view of the
fact that Hydroponics farming have a high costing materials to
generate this kind of studies.

Expected Output.
This study can expect to have a change in our usual planting and this study can also help to increase
the production of sustainable resources by our farmers
